未來之城

斯里蘭卡是印度洋的咽喉，自古就是“東方十字路口”?？苽惼赂凼菤W亞之間重要的國際貿易和石油運輸通道，是世界最長的人工港灣之一，承擔斯里蘭卡90%以上進出口任務。

科倫坡港口城是斯里蘭卡迄今最大的外國直接投資項目，也是中斯兩國在“一帶一路”建設中的合作典范，被譽為未來之城，由斯里蘭卡政府和中國港灣工程有限責任公司聯合開發。項目一期預計投資14億美元，帶動二期綜合開發投資130億美元，建成后將成為南亞地區集金融、旅游、物流、IT等為一體的高端城市綜合體。

目前，港口城項目的土地吹填工作已經接近尾聲，市政設施建設也陸續啟動。自2014年9月動工以來，該項目不僅為當地創造了上千工作崗位，還將世界一流的施工技術帶到斯里蘭卡。

Ideally located at the throat of?the Indian Ocean， Sri Lanka has been dubbed "Crossroad of theOriental" since ancient times. With?a prime locality， Sri Lanka's Port ofColombo has sensed?as an important international?trade and oil transport?channel between Europe and Asia. As?one of the world's longest man- -made harbors， it undertakes more than90% of Sri Lanka’s import and export shipment.

Colombo Port City is not only the largest?foreign direct investment project?in Sri Lanka's history， but also a?model cooperation project betweenChina and Sri Lanka under the Belt?and Road Initiative. Hailed as the “City?of the Future"， this project is jointly?developed by the Government?of SriLanka and China Harbor EngineeringCompany Limited （CHEC）. Once completed， this project， with an?expected investment of USD 1.4billion for Phase | and a supplementary investment?of USD 13 billion in .comprehensive development forPhase II， will become a high-endurban complex integrating finance，?tourism， logistics and IT in South Asia.

At present， its land reclamation works?are drawing to a close， and?its construction works of municipal facilities?have also kept starting. Since breaking?ground in September 2014，this project has not only created thousands?of jobs for local people， but also?brought world-class construction?technologies to Sri Lanka.
