An Overview of Overseas Bridges Constructed by CRMBEG

In recent years,as China has played an active role in participating in infrastructure construction in relevant countries and regions,the overseas cooperation launched by China Railway Major Bridge Engineering Group (CRMBEG) has been strengthened.In the past 20 years,CRMBEG has built over 40 bridges in more than 20 countries and regions including Vietnam,Bangladesh,Pakistan,Mali,Malaysia,Myanmar,Australia,Angola,Turkey,South Africa,Zambia,Tanzania and Morocco.CRMBEG's bridge-building technology and project management capabilities have been highly recognized by these countries and regions,and Chinese-built bridges have become a symbol of the new “Made in China.”

孟加拉帕德瑪大橋是目前中國企業在海外承建的最大橋梁工程，也是目前孟加拉最大的土建工程項目，被稱為孟加拉人民的夢想之橋，主橋全長6150米，為跨度150米的雙層鋼桁梁大橋，上層為雙向四車道公路，下層為單線鐵路橋，2015年開工。Padma Bridge,the largest overseas bridge project contracted by a Chinese corporation is also the largest civil engineering project in Bangladesh.Honored as “a dream bridge” by Bangladeshi people,it is a double-deck steel truss bridge,with a span of 150 meters and a total length of 6,150 meters.The upper deck is a two-way four-lane road,and the lower deck is a one-way railway.Its construction started in 2015.
