● 唐良智出席第五屆中美省州長論壇

美國當地時間5月23日上午，由中國人民對外友好協會和美國全國州長協會主辦的第五屆中美省州長論壇在美國肯塔基州列克星敦市開幕，論壇主題為“共譜中美關系新篇章”。市委副書記、市長唐良智出席論壇，并代表中國地方政府代表團在論壇開幕式上致辭。

唐良智說，重慶與美國的交往歷史源遠流長，近年來雙方經貿往來持續深化，互聯互通更加便捷，人文交流不斷拓展，高層互訪日益頻繁。在經濟全球化的歷史大勢下，我們愿與美國各州進一步深化經貿、產業、科教、文旅合作，進一步擴大制造業、金融、現代服務業等領域貿易規模，歡迎美國企業加大在重慶的投資力度，不斷增進民心相通。歡迎美國各界朋友來重慶參加第二屆中國國際智能產業博覽會，實地感受“山水之城·美麗之地”的獨特魅力，在這里共享機遇、共謀發展。

論壇上還舉行了中美省州領導人一對一會見、合作項目簽約等活動。參會的兩國企業家代表也廣泛交流，探討未來合作的機遇與空間。中國重慶、陜西、江西、甘肅4省市負責人，美國肯塔基、田納西、華盛頓、科羅拉多、密歇根等州負責人，以及包括宗申、小康等重慶企業在內的兩國經商界人士約400人出席本屆論壇。

● 市政府外辦召開黨組理論學習中心組（擴大）學習會深入學習貫徹習近平總書記視察重慶重要講話精神

4月28日，市政府外辦召開黨組理論學習中心組（擴大）專題學習會，深入學習貫徹習近平總書記視察重慶重要講話精神。辦黨組書記、主任李謙主持會議，辦機關及直屬事業單位全體干部職工、離退休干部代表110余人參加會議。

李謙在總結講話中指出，深入貫徹習近平總書記視察重慶重要講話精神，是當前和今后一個時期全辦的首要政治任務。要充分發揮好外事部門統籌國際國內兩個市場、兩種資源的獨特優勢，積極助推出境出國大通道建設，高質量辦好2019上合組織地方領導人會晤、西洽會、智博會等大型國際活動，不斷擴大友城、領館等朋友圈，更好服務企業“引進來”“走出去”。全力抓好精準脫貧對口幫扶工作，切實解決“兩不愁三保障”問題。

會上，全體辦領導和各處室（單位）負責人緊緊圍繞“深入學習貫徹習近平總書記視察重慶重要講話精神”，緊密聯系自身思想和工作實際，談認識、談心得、談思路、談打算，進一步深化了對總書記視察重慶重大意義和總書記重要講話精神的學習領會。

● 第三屆（2019）重慶泰國風情周在渝成功舉行

4月30日—5月5日，由泰國駐成都總領事館主辦的第三屆重慶泰國風情周活動在重慶成功舉行。該活動秉承宣傳中泰友好為宗旨，推介泰國文化風情為主題，80余家泰國企業參展并與重慶企業對接。

市政府外辦主任李謙在致辭中表示，市政府外辦愿與泰國駐成都總領事館加強合作，進一步拓展新的交流平臺和合作渠道，攜手參與“一帶一路”建設和“泰國4.0”發展戰略，推動高層互訪，強化經貿投資，夯實友城交流，拓展旅游市場，探索文化、教育、高新技術產業等領域的務實合作。

泰國駐成都總領事吳威德致辭中表示，希望通過此次活動，擴大人文交流、拓展經貿合作、增進兩地友誼，共同開辟兩地友好合作新篇章。

活動期間，充滿泰國風情的文化藝術展演、旅游宣傳推廣、優質商品展出等活動相繼舉行，吸引了大量市民圍觀和熱情參與。

● “重慶市港澳青年創新創業基地”授牌成立

5月13日，市發展改革委、市商務委、市政府港澳辦、兩江新區管委會和團市委向兩江新區漫客空間（MK SPACE）授牌成立“重慶市港澳青年創新創業基地”。

授牌儀式上，市港澳辦黨組成員、副主任張婭茜介紹了基地成立的背景和意義。“重慶市港澳青年創新創業基地”的創建旨在務實推進渝港澳青年創新創業交流合作，為三地人才、資源雙向交流搭建平臺。下一步，將分別在香港特區、澳門特區成立漫客空間海外人才離岸創新創業基地，將在引導重慶本土企業借船出海，赴港上市、對接、落地，開辟海外市場，分享“一帶一路”共建紅利，以及推進海外人才、海外科技成果來渝進行轉化或共同開展應用研究等方面發揮重要作用。

兩江新區管委會副主任秦淑斌，市商務委副主任宋剛，團市委副書記葉力娜，市發改委副巡視員張蕾，以及香港特區政府駐重慶聯絡處、香港貿發局、重慶海外聯誼會在渝港澳企業家分會等部分港澳駐渝機構負責人出席授牌儀式。

● 第二屆意大利電影文化周在渝開幕

5月26日，由意大利駐重慶總領事館主辦的“第二屆意大利電影文化周：從威尼斯到中國”在重慶UME影城（渝中店）拉開帷幕。今年，意大利駐重慶總領事館從威尼斯國際電影節的作品中精選了3部優質影片來到重慶，為重慶影迷帶來一場非同尋常的“意式大餐”。

意大利駐重慶副總領事康達城表示，中國和意大利都是文化大國，文化交流是中意以及意大利和重慶之間非常重要的一部分，意大利電影文化周旨在向世界推廣高品質的意大利電影。明年是“中意文化旅游年”，我們將推出更多的文化交流活動。

Tang Liangzhi Attended the 5th China-US Governors Forum

On the morning of May 23rd, U.S. local time, the 5th China-US Governors Forum jointly hosted by the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the National Association of Governors of the United States opened in Lexington, Kentucky of the U.S. The theme of the forum was“For the New Chapters of Sino-US Relations”. Tang Liangzhi,deputy secretary of the municipal party committee and mayor of Chongqing, attended the forum and deliver a speech on behalf of the Chinese local government delegation at the opening ceremony.

Tang said that Chongqing has a long history of conducting exchanges with the United States. Recent years have witnessed an increasingly deepened economic and trade exchanges between the two sides, more convenient interconnection and intercommunication, expanded humanities exchanges and frequent high-level visits. Under the historical trend of economic globalization, we are willing to further deepen cooperation with all states of America in economy, trade, industry, science and education, culture and tourism, and further expand our trades in manufacturing, finance, and modern service industries. We warmly welcome US companies to increase investment in Chongqing and constantly improve the hearts of the peoples.Friends from all walks of life from the United States are welcomed to Chongqing for the 2nd China International Intelligent Industry Expo and experience the unique charm of beautiful Chongqing,where we have opportunities to share and common development to seek.

Besides, one-on-one meetings for Chinese and American provincial leaders and cooperation and projects signing activities have been also held at the forum. Representatives of entrepreneurs from both countries also exchanged ideas and explored opportunities for future cooperation. Heads of Chongqing city, Shaanxi, Jiangxi, and Gansu provinces, heads of such states as Kentucky, Tennessee, Washington, Colorado and Michigan, as well as about 400 people from business circles including Zongshen, Xiaokang and other Chongqing enterprises all attended the forum.

The Foreign Affairs Of fice of the Chongqing Municipal Government Held A Party Group Theoretical Study Group(Expanded) Meeting for Studying and Implementing the Spirit of Speeches of General Secretary Xi Jinping in His Inspection of Chongqing

On April 28th, the Foreign Affairs Office of the Chongqing Municipal Government held a Party Group Theoretical Study Group (expanded) meeting for studying and implementing the spirit of speeches of General Secretary Xi Jinping in his inspection of Chongqing. Li Qian, secretary of the Party group and director of the Party, presided over the meeting. More than 110 representatives of all the workers and retired cadres of the institutions and directly af filiated institutions attended the meeting.

In his concluding remarks, Li Qian pointed out that in-depth implementation of the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s speeches in his inspection of Chongqing is the primary political task for the current and future period. It is necessary to give full play to the unique advantages of the foreign affairs department in coordinating the international and domestic markets and the two resources, and actively promote the construction of outbound and exit channels. We must do a better job in the 2019 SCO Local Leaders Meeting, the WCIFIT, the China Smart City Expo and other large-scale international activities, and continue to expand the friend circles with consulates and other friendly cities, and better serve the company for “bringing in” and “going global”.We will do our utmost to counterpart assist for targeted poverty alleviation and effectively solve prominent problems including meeting the basic needs of food and clothing and guaranteeing compulsory education, basic medical care and housing in Chongqing.

At the meeting, the leaders of offices and the heads of the departments (institutions) closely focused on “in-depth implementation of the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s speeches in his inspection of Chongqing”, and closely related to their own ideas and practical work to sharing their understandings,ideas and plans. It was intended to further deepen the study and understanding of Xi’s inspection of Chongqing and the spirit of his speeches.

The 3rd (2019) Thai Style Week Successfully Held in Chongqing

From April 30th to May 5th, the 3rd (Chongqing) Thailand Style Week organized by the Royal Thai Consulate General in Chengdu was successfully held in Chongqing. Based on the promotion of Sino-Thai friendship and themed as advancing the Thai culture, this event has attracted over 80 Thai companies to participate in the exhibition and connect with Chongqing enterprises.

Li Qian, director of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Chongqing Municipal Government, said in his speech that the Foreign Affairs Of fice is willing to strengthen cooperation with the Royal Thai Consulate General in Chengdu, further expand new exchange platforms and cooperation channels, and participate in the construction of the “Belt and Road” and the development strategy of “Thailand 4.0”. We will promote high-level visits,strengthen economic and trade investment, enhance exchanges between friendly cities, expand the tourism market, and explore pragmatic cooperation in the fields of culture, education, and hightech industries.

Ms. Pheephakorn Niamyai, Royal Thai Consul General in Chengdu, said in his speech that he hopes to expand cultural exchanges, economic and trade cooperation, enhance friendship between the both sides, and jointly open a new chapter in friendly cooperation between Chongqing and Thailand.

During the event, activities such as Thai style cultural and artistic performances, tourism promotion and high-quality products exhibitions were held one after another, attracting a large number of citizens to participate.

“Hong Kong and Macao Youth Innovation & Entrepreneurship Base(Chongqing)” Established

On May 13, the Municipal Development and Reform Commission, the Municipal Commission of Commerce, the Municipal Government Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Of fice, the Liangjiang New District Management Committee and the Communist Youth League Committee awarded the “Hong Kong and Macao Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base (Chongqing)” to the MK SPACE of Liangjiang New District.

At the ceremony, Zhang Yaxi, member of the Party group and deputy director of the Hong Kong and Macau Affairs Of fice, made an introduction to the background and significance of the establishment of the base. The establishment of “Hong Kong and Macao Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base (Chongqing)” aims to promote the exchanges and cooperation among youth from Chongqing, Hong Kong and Macao in entrepreneurship, and build a platform for two-way exchange of talents and resources among the three places. In the next step, we will set up an overseas innovation and entrepreneurship base for talents in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the Macao Special Administrative Region. We will guide Chongqing local enterprises to “borrow ships to go to the sea”, to go to Hong Kong for listing, docking and landing, to open up overseas markets and share the “Belt and Road” dividend. It plays an important role in promoting overseas talents, overseas scienti fic and technological achievements, and transforming them or jointly conducting applied research.

The 2nd Italian Film Culture Week Opened in Chongqing

On May 26th, the 2nd Italian Film Culture Week: “From Venice to China"hosted by the Italian Consulate General in Chongqing opened in Chongqing UME Studios (Yuzhong District). This year, the Italian Consulate General in Chongqing selected three high-quality films from the works of the Venice International Film Festival to Chongqing, bringing an extraordinary “Italian meal” to Chongqing fans.

Davide Castellani, Italian Consul General in Chongqing, said that China and Italy are countries with great culture.Cultural exchanges are a very important part of China and Italy. The Italian Film Culture Week aims to promote highquality Italian films to the world. Next year is the “China-Italy Cultural Tourism Year”,and more cultural exchange activities will be launched then.
