2019 Fashion Art Invitational Exhibition sparkled in Chongqing

“Dialogues — 2019 Fashion Art Invitational Exhibition” opened in Chongqing Dazu Rock Carvings Museum on March 24th. 50 Fashion Artists from more than 9 countries and regions have attended this exhibition which will last till May 5th. On the theme of “Cultural Heritage and Fashion Art”， various artists via their art works are in dialogues with Dazu Rock Carvings through a thousand years. This exhibition is sponsored by International Fashion Art Network （IFAN）， co-sponsored by Chongqing Dazu Rock Carvings International Tourism Group Co.， Ltd.， Fashion Art Research Centre， School of Design， China Central Academy of Fine Arts， Chongqing Fashion Designers Association， and Dazu Rock Carvings. Inviting the society to participate in this great art fair， this exhibition will also bring further promotion and development to the culture of Dazu Rock Carvings.

The Opening Ceremony was hosted by Chief Secretary of IFAN Prof. Zhou Zhaohui from Hunan Vocational College of Art， Vice President of IFAN Prof Jiang Kinor from Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

Mr. Qian Hu， Deputy Warden of Chongqing Dazu District Peoples Government was giving a warm welcome to the artists and a congratulation to the exhibition on the behalf of Dazu. Mr. Qian introduced the history， culture， location advantages， investment environment and natural sources of Dazu. He hoped artists could take Dazu for more inspirations and create splendid fashion art works.

President of IFAN， Fashion Artist， Curator of this exhibition， Prof. Geum Key-Sook from Hongik University on behalf of IFAN acknowledged for all the supports from Dazu District Peoples Government， Dazu Rock Carvings International Tourism Group Co.， Ltd.， and all the works during organizing this exhibition. She highly appreciated the cultural treasure that Dazu Rock Carvings has left to the descendant. We shall cherish these rich cultural resources inherited from ancestors as the revelation to remember the past and also to look into the visionary future.

Prof. Liang Mingyu from College of Textile Garment， Southwest University， Executive Board Member of IFAN， Chairman of Chongqing Designers Association， addressed a speech that gave appreciation for the supports of Dazu Group， the efforts of everyone to display Fashion Art in the grandeur approach. She wished Dazu and Fashion Art would be in extraordinary splendour together.

The Curator Prof. Lyu Yue （Aluna）， also Chief Deputy President of IFAN and PhD Supervisor from China Central Academy of Fine Arts （CAFA） addressed that after more than 5 months of preparation and the team cooperation， we collected nearly a hundred works of 50 Fashion Artists from 9 countries and regions， resulted with an excellent exhibition after the installation. She also introduced every attended artist and appreciated for their participation.
