大母雞

我酷愛養雞，家里養了六只母雞，其中一只大母雞又大又肥，全身披著黃羽毛，頭上有一頂紅色的小冠子，真神氣。

大母雞既刁橫又霸道。有一次，我拿了一把米來喂它們，大母雞首先在我面前咕咕地叫，好像在對我說：“小主人，快來喂我吧！真把我餓死了。”我對它說：“就你貪（tān niàn）吃！”我把米放進食槽里，大母雞就張開它的大翅膀撲向食槽，還專門找大顆的米吃，其他的母雞餓得咕咕直叫，只好吃它刨出來的碎米。有一只黃母雞不服氣，就悄悄地來到食槽，和大母雞搶著吃，剛搶一口，頭部就被大母雞狠狠地啄了一下，嚇得那只黃母雞趕緊躲到一邊去了。其他母雞再也不敢搶食槽里的食了，只得乖乖地吃大母雞刨出來的碎米。

大母雞還喜歡打盹（dǔn dùn）。它打盹時還很講究，先用爪（zhuǎ zhǎo）子“刷、刷”地在地上扒（bā pá）個坑，然后就蹲下來瞇上眼睛，把頭插進它那大翅（chì cì）膀下一動也不動，你走過去，它也不怕，還是打自己的盹。

我們全家人都喜歡這只大母雞，因為它每天下一個蛋，比其他雞下得多。它下蛋時先吃得飽飽的，然后就安安穩穩地臥在窩里，忽然它渾身哆嗦起來，頓時它的羽毛豎了起來，樣子忐忑不安，不一會兒，它就站起來。我走近一看，雞窩里已經有一個蛋了，一拿起來，熱乎乎的，我把蛋取走后，趕緊抓一把米喂它。大母雞一邊吃一邊“咯咯”地叫，好象在說：“我下蛋了！我下蛋了！”
