Born in Gansu province， Wang Yulin got his Bachelors degree at Central Academy of Fine Arts （CAFA） and later studied at the advanced class of heavy-color paintings held by Jiang Caipins Studio at CAFA. Wang received instructions from painters and professors such as Mo Xiaosong， Jiang Caipin， Tang XIuling， Su Baijun， Yao Shunxi and Du Pingrang. Good at meticulous flower-and-bird paintings， Wang now is a member of Chinese Artists Association （CAA）， member of China Hue Art Association， member of Beijing Meticulous Heavycolor Paintings Society， and serves as Vice Chairman of Gansu Meticulous Paintings Association and painter of Beijing Academy of Chinese Meticulous Flowerand-bird Paintings.
Wangs works have gained the accreditation of galleries and exhibitions， receiving awards from lots of large-scale national exhibitions， such as the Silver Award of 2003 National Chinese Paintings Exhibition， the Excellent Award of 2011 Contemporary Flower-and-bird Painting Exhibition held by CAA， and the Third Prize of National Fan Paintings Exhibition. Wang has published ten monographs and albums of paintings so far.
王玉林，甘肅瓜州縣人。大學本科畢業于中央美術學院并獲文學學士學位，后進修于中央美術學院蔣采蘋重彩畫工作室第十二屆重彩畫高研班。參加國家藝術基金“南方地域特色花鳥畫寫生與創作人才培養”學習。受教于莫曉松、蔣采蘋、唐秀玲、蘇百鈞、姚舜熙、杜平讓等先生，主攻工筆花鳥畫。現為中國美術家協會會員、中國工筆畫學會會員、北京工筆重彩畫學會會員，甘肅省工筆畫協會副會長、北京中國工筆花鳥畫院畫家。
作品《踱步》獲得由中國美術家協會主辦的“首屆朝圣敦煌全國美術作品展”優秀獎。《落木蕭蕭》獲得由中國美協舉辦的“2003年全國中國畫作品展”銀獎。《惠風集賢圖》獲得由中國美協2011年舉辦的“中國當代花鳥畫展”優秀獎。《秋酣》獲“走進自然——甘肅省首屆寫生畫展”一等獎。《花潮》獲全國小品精作扇面展三等獎。《西天月》入選“奇迪杯全國第五屆工筆畫大展”。《三月花語》入選“歡慶十六大西部大地情”全國中國畫作品展。《團扇系列》入選由文化部舉辦的“中國國際美術雙年展，當代花鳥畫藝術大展”。《西域往事》入選“2004年全國中國畫作品展”。畢業創作《沂河水》被中央美術學院收藏。《薄暮秋風無涼意》入選全國小幅工筆重彩畫作品展。《撒拉族少女》《夜咖啡》入選“盛世和諧·情系奧運——中國民族風情工筆人物畫提名展”。《秋風勁》入選中國美協主辦的“首屆全國線描藝術展”。《寥落秋風多寂寞》入選由中國美協、中國工筆畫學會主辦的“第七屆全國工筆畫大展”。2017年分別在敦煌美術館和甘肅美術館舉辦“青蓮意象——甘肅美術館王玉林工筆花鳥畫作品展敦煌預展”“雅逸惠風·來自敦煌——王玉林工筆花鳥畫作品展”。
