“交流互鑒,讓文明充滿活力。”這是習近平主席在訪問意大利時,羅馬大學孔子學院外方院長、漢學家馬西尼所說的話。作為亞平寧半島“漢學熱”長盛不衰的助推者,馬西尼表示,回顧過去,意中在文化、教育等領域的交流合作密切;展望未來,“一帶一路”建設將為意中合作注入新的強勁動力。

在“一帶一路”上有眾多漢學大咖,他們選擇用一生與中國結緣,將中華文化帶回各自的國家,向世人描繪和展示了日新月異的中國,為人類文明交流互鑒做出杰出貢獻。

拉脫維亞大學孔子學院外方院長貝德高,歷時8年編纂了首部《漢語拉脫維亞語大詞典》,用深厚的學識打開了“一帶一路”視域下中拉友好關系的文化通道。

羅馬尼亞布加勒斯特大學孔子學院外方院長白羅米致力于翻譯中國文學作品,促使孔子學院在羅中文學交流中架起橋梁和紐帶。

塞爾維亞貝爾格萊德孔子學院外方院長拉多薩夫.普西奇鐘情漢字和中國哲學,將老子的《道德經(jīng)》翻譯成塞文,讓更多塞爾維亞人了解這一古老的東方哲學。

匈牙利羅蘭大學副校長、孔子學院外方院長郝清新和漢學家包甫博編纂《漢匈詞典》,被作為國禮贈送給訪問匈牙利的李克強總理。

他們親眼目睹中國社會的發(fā)展變化,親身感受中國人民的真摯情誼,親筆書寫民心相通的友誼故事。漢學研究的未來屬于青年。

我的“中國夢”已經(jīng)成真尼泊爾漢學家馬拉

1995年,年僅10歲的馬拉隨父母來中國旅游?!霸诒本覅⒂^了天安門廣場;在樂山,我看到了自己自幼熟悉的佛陀;在拉薩,高原反應嚴重的我得到了中國醫(yī)生的悉心照顧……”對中國的美好印象和深厚情誼,就這樣在小馬拉的心里扎下了根。

2005年,馬拉來到中國,先后進入中國人民大學和復旦大學攻讀本科、研究生課程?!傲魧W之初,語言是一大障礙?!瘪R拉分享了當年一次尷尬的經(jīng)歷:有一次他打車,告訴司機“我要去北京語言大學”??芍貜土宋灞?,司機卻沒聽明白,直到我用手比劃出學校名字的漢字,司機才恍然大悟。這讓馬拉下決心練好漢語發(fā)音。

如今,馬拉已經(jīng)成為尼泊爾加德滿都孔子學院的一名中文教師。他認為,語言教學不僅關乎語言,還要把文化內(nèi)涵融入其中,這樣才能培養(yǎng)學生對中華文化的熱情。除了漢語教學以外,馬拉也從事中文一尼泊爾語的翻譯工作,他希望把有關中國文化和歷史的書籍介紹到自己的國家,讓更多尼泊爾人了解中國。 從一個曾經(jīng)一點中文都不會說的孩子,到如今教授更多孩子漢語和中華文化?!拔腋杏X我的‘中國夢’已經(jīng)成真了?!瘪R拉說。

“中國愿與‘一帶一路’上的我們共享發(fā)展經(jīng)驗,共創(chuàng)全面和諧的發(fā)展,我愿意傾盡自己的能力和心血,為兩國文化發(fā)展和人文交流添磚加瓦。”

家人說我變成了中國人塞爾維亞漢學家葉子

現(xiàn)為貝爾格萊德大學中文系博士生的葉子,曾于2009年參加過“漢語橋”比賽。在中國的兩周比賽雖然短暫,卻讓這位東歐女孩愛上了中國。“我初步體驗了真正的中國生活,還切身感受到了中國的精神氣質(zhì),當時我就下定決心,一定要再回到中國?!?/p>

葉子2007年考入大學時讀的就是中文系。剛開始學漢語時,她遇到了巨大的困難?!叭麪柧S亞語和漢語的區(qū)別實在太大了!”她回憶,好在自己堅持了下來,并成功申請赴中國傳媒大學攻讀碩士。

在中國讀書期間,葉子逐漸養(yǎng)成了“喜歡喝熱水、天天練書法”的習慣,用家人的話說就是,“都快變成一個中國人了”。而在葉子看來,“書法不僅是一種藝術,也是一種享受生活的方式”。 通過書法,葉子更好地領悟了漢字的奧妙。“漢字太厲害了,一個字就是一幅圖、一個故事。漢字不是一個字,而是一個世界。我覺得這種世界上獨一無二的表達語義的方式非常巧妙,對我這個以拼音文字語言為母語的人來說,太神奇了!”

在讀博之余,葉子在塞爾維亞一所中學教漢語?!拔业膶W生們很喜歡學中國舞蹈,對中國文化很有興趣?!彼f,“塞爾維亞人特別喜歡中國人。曾經(jīng)的南斯拉夫與中國的關系很好,老年人都記得那個時代,這也深深影響著青年一代對中國的觀感。在塞爾維亞首都貝爾格萊德,有一個石碑記載著塞爾維亞與中國的患難之交。如今,在‘一帶一路’倡議下,塞爾維亞和中國的友誼之樹一定會更加繁茂。”

中國是我的第二家鄉(xiāng)土耳其漢學家法特瑪

“高中時,我的夢想是考上英文系,畢業(yè)后去紐約開一家書店。如果我能回到過去,我會對年輕的自己說:學中文吧。中國那么大,中國人那么熱情好客,中國文化那么有意思,學中文一定會有美好的前途。”土耳其漢學家法特瑪說。

2006年,法特瑪考上了土耳其埃爾吉耶斯大學中文系。大二時,法特瑪參加了“漢語橋”比賽,獲得土耳其賽區(qū)第二名,并獲得了去北京交換學習的機會。現(xiàn)代化的城市設施、千百年的歷史沉淀,讓這個年輕的土耳其女孩瞬間愛上了中國。

結束一年的交換生活返回土耳其后,2010年,法特瑪再度回到中國,在東北師范大學攻讀碩士。畢業(yè)后,一個偶然的機遇讓法特瑪成為新創(chuàng)立的土耳其內(nèi)夫謝希爾大學中國語言文學系的助教。“這是我人生中最快樂的時刻。”她說。

“學無止境”是法特瑪漢語之路的貼切注腳。為了能汲取更多知識,她考入土耳其安卡拉大學讀博士,師從土耳其知名漢學教授歐凱。文史不分家,在博士學習期間,法特瑪閱讀了大量史料典籍,其博士論文的題目便是“鄭和下西洋在中國歷史上的地位”。

2015年,法特瑪?shù)膬鹤映錾?。法特瑪常常教兒子漢語,“他會用漢語從一數(shù)到十,發(fā)音特別標準”?!拔覍χ袊刑厥獾母星椋袊谖业娜松姓紦?jù)著特殊的地位。我十分愛中國,中國是我的第二個家鄉(xiāng)?!?/p>

“國之交在于民相親,民相親在于心相通。…‘一帶一路”上民心相通的絲路故事,始終喚醒沿線各國民眾共同的歷史記憶,成為拉近各國人民的情感紐帶。

兩千年前的古絲綢之路既是一條通商互信之路、經(jīng)濟合作之路,也是一條文化交流之路、文明對話之路。通過文化交流,國與國的交往、地區(qū)與地區(qū)的往來日益加深,人們的相互了解與信任日益加強,友誼之橋與合作之路也將越來越寬廣。

\"Exchanges and mutual learn-ing energize civilizations.\" Fed-erico Masini, a sinologist and theforeign director of the ConfuciusInstitute at Sapienza University ofRome, said during President XiJinping's visit to Italy. As an advo-cate of the long-lasting popularityof sinology on Apennine Penin-sula, Masini said that Italy andChina had close exchanges andcooperation in cultural, education-al and other fields in the past, andlooking ahead, the development ofthe Belt and Road Initiative wouldlend strong impetus to the coop-eration between Italy and China.

A great number of great si-nologists along the Belt and Roadchose to devote their whole lifeto bringing Chinese culture backto their own countries. They havedescribed and demonstrated theever-changing China to the world,making outstanding contributionsto the exchanges and mutual learn-ing among civilizations.

Peteris Pildegovics, Foreign Di-rector of the Confucius Insrirure arUniversity of Latvia, spent 8 yearscompiling the first Cbinese-LatvianDictionary, opening the culturalthoroughfare with his profoundknowledge for the friendly rela-tions between China and Larviain the context of Belt and Roadcooperation.

Luminita Balan, Foreign Di-rector of the Confucius Instituteat the University of Bucharest inRomania, committed himself totranslating Chinese literary wo rksand promoting the role of theConfucius Institute as a bridge andbond in litetaty exchanges betweenRomania and China.

Pusic Radosav, Foreign Direc-tor of the Confucius Institute inBelgrade, Serbia, is deeply in lovewith Chinese characters and Chi-nese philosophy. He translated TaoTe King, written by Lao-Tzu, fromChinese into Serbian, giving moreSerbs access to this ancient orientalphilosophy.

Imre Hamar, Vice President ofEotvos Lorand University (ELTE)and Foreign Director of the Confu-cius Institute at ELTE in Hungary,along with sinologist Huba Bartos,compiled the Cbinese - HungarianDictionary, which was presented asa state gift to Premier Li Keqiangduring his visit to Hungary.

Richard Trappl, an Austrian si-nologist and the foreign director ofthe Confucius Institute at the Uni-versity of Vienna, has been attachedto China for 40 years. He studiesand teaches Chinese literature andis committed to presenting Chineseeconomy, culture and literature onvarious occasions.

Menerel Chimedtseye, Professorof the Foreign Language and Cul-ture Institute of the National Uni-versity of Mongolia (NUM) andForeign Director of the ConfuciusInstitute at NUM, was awardedthe Golden Feather Prize, the mostp restigio us award for translation inMongolia. His translation of TheGreat Learning, The Doctrine of theMean and works of modern andcontemporary novelists such as BingXin, Tie Ning and Zhang Jie, openedthe door for Mongolians to learnabout Chinese literature.

Giray Fidan, former Foreign Di-rector of the Confucius Institute atOkan University, translated ancientChinese classics such as The Analects ofConfucius and Master Sun s Art of War,which are well-received in Turkey. Apart from these senior sinologists,more and more outstanding youngscholars have become witnesses, build-ers and communicators of people-to-people exchanges among countriesalong the Belt and Road. As a newfo rce in sinology, yo ung sinologistshave infinite potential to serve people-to-people ties.

They witness the developmentand great changes of Chinese society,experience Chinese people's sincerityand tell stories about the friendshipbetween the peoples of China andother countries. It's obvious that thefuture of sinology belongs to thoseyoung men.

My Chinese Dream Has ComeTrue

Aneesh Malla, a Nepalesesinologist

Malla travelled to China with hisparents in 1995 when he was onlyten. \"I visited the Tian'anmen Squarein Beijing and the familiar Buddhain Leshan, Sichuan. In Lhasa, I gotserious altitude stress, and Chinesedoctors took good care of me,\" hesaid. Since then, the good impres-sion of China and the deep friendshipbetween him and the Chinese peoplehave taken root in his heart.

In 2005, Malla came to Chinaand successively entered RenminUniversity of China and FudanUniversity to study for bachelor' andmaster's degrees. \"In the beginning,language was a major obstacle.\"Malla shared an awkward experience.Once he took a taxi and told thedriver he was going to Beijing Lan-guage and Culture University. Herepeated five times, but the drivercouldn't understand until he gesticu-lated the Chinese characters. Thismade Malla determined to train onhis Chinese pronunciation.

Now, Malla has become a Chineseteacher in the Confucius Institute atKathmandu University. He believesthat language education involvesnot only language, but integrationof cultural connotations. Only inthis way can we stimulate students'passion for Chinese culture. Besideslanguage teaching, Malla is alsoengaged in Chinese-Nepali transla-tion. He hopes to introduce booksabout Chinese culture and history tohis country, so that more Nepalesepeople could know about China.

Malla has grown from a child whocouldn't speak Chinese at all to aman teaching Chinese language andculture. \"It feels like my Chinesedream has come true,\" Malla said.

\"China is willing to share itsdevelopment experience and worktogether with us for co mp rehensiveand harmonious development incountries along the Belt and Road.In turn, I am willing to do my bestto promote the cultural developmentof and people-to-people exchangesbetween the two countries.\"

My Family Says I Have Become aChinese Despotovic Jelena, a Serbian sinolo-gist

Jelena, now a doctoral student in the Chi-nese Language and Literature Departmentat the University of Belgrade, participated inthe \"Chinese Bridge\" competition in 2009.The two-week competition, though short,has made the Eastern European girl fall inlove with China. \"During the first experienceof living a real Chinese life, I felt the Chi-nese spirit, and at that time I made up mymind to return to China one day.\"

Jelena majored in Chinese when shewas admitted to university in 2007. At thebeginning oflearning Chinese language,she found it too hard. \"Serbian and Chineseare so different!\" she recalled. Thanks to herpersistence, she was admitted by Commu-nication University of China to study for amaster's degree.

While studying in China, Jelena gradu-ally developed the habit of \"drinking warmwater and practicing calligraphy every day\".Just like what her family said, \"she is aboutto become a Chinese.\" While in her view,\"calligraphy is not only an art, but a way toenj oy life.\"

Through practicing calligraphy, Jelenahad a better understanding of the mysteriesof Chinese characters. \"Chinese charactersare wonderful! Every one of them signifiesa picture and tells a story. They are not onlycharacters, but a world, and I feel the inge-nuity in such a unique semantic representa-tion. It is so amazing for someone like mewho speaks an alphabetic language!\"

In her free time when srudying for a PhD,Jelena taught Chinese at a secondary schoolin Serbia. \"My students like to learn Chi-nese dance very much and they are also veryinterested in Chinese culture.\" She said, \"theSerbs are very fond of Chinese people. Theelders still recall the time when Yugoslaviaand China had a close relationship, and itis also influencing the younger generationand their feelings towards China. In Serbia'scapital, Belgrade, a stone monument was setin memory of the two countries' friendshipin adversity. Today, with the Belt and RoadInitiative, the tree of friendship betweenSerbia and China is bound to flourish.\"

China is My Second Hometown

Ceylan Fatma Ecem, a Turkish si-nologist

\"In high school, I dreamed of becomingan English major in college and running abookstore in New York after graduation.But if I could go back, I would tell myyounger self. learn Chinese. You'II definitelyhave a bright future since China is so big,Chinese people are so hospitable and Chi-nese culture is so interesting.\" said CeylanFatma Ecem.

In 2006, Fatma was enrolled in the Chi-nese Language and Literature Departmentat Erciyes University In her sophomoreyear, she won the second place in the Turk-ish Division of the \"Chinese Bridge\" com-petition, and got the opportunity to studyin Beijing as an exchange student. Beijing'smodernization and history of thousands ofyears made this young Turkish girl fall inlove with China instantly.

After spending a year in China as anexchange student, Fatma returned to Tur-key. In 2010, however, she came to Chinaagain to pursue a master's degree at North-east Normal University. After graduation, bychance, she served as a teaching assistant inthe Chinese Language and Literature De-partment at the newly-esrablished NevsehirUniversity. \"It was the happiest moment inmylife\", she said.

\"Knowledge is infinite\" is an apt descrip-tion of Farma's path of learning Chinese.Inorder to acquire more knowledge, she thenstudied for a PhD at Ankara University underProf Dr. Bulent OKAY, a well-known Turk-ish sinologist. Since literature and history areclosely related, Fatma read a lot of historicalmaterials and classics during her PhD.srud-ies, hence the title of her doctoral disserta-tion is \"The Role of Zheng He's Voyages tothe Western Seas in Chinese History\".

In 2015, Fatma's son was born. She often teaches her son Chinese. \"He can count fromone to ten in Chinese with very standardpronunciation.\" \"I have a special affectiontowards China which takes a special place inmy life. I love China very much and China ismy second hometown.\"

State-to-state relations thrive when there is friendship between the peoples. And suchfriendship grows out of close interactionsbetween the peoples. The stories of people'sfriendship along the Belt and Road, whichalways arouse people's common historicalmemory, have been affectional ties amongthem.

Two thousand years ago, the ancient SilkRoad promoted trade, mutual trust, econom-ic cooperation, cultural exchanges as well asdialogue among civilizations. Through cul-tural exchanges, the state-to-state and region-to-region exchanges will be increasingly .deepened; people's mutual understanding andtrust will be strengthened, and the friendshipand cooperation in various fields will also beenhanced.
