Christmas Day， the birthday of Jesus Christ， is the most important （最重要的） festival in Britain and some other countries. On Christmas Eve， children usually put their stockings （長筒襪） at the end of their beds before they go to bed. Children think Santa Claus， with the other name of Father Christmas， will come at the night and put Christmas gifts in their stockings.
