When you think of a royal dinner party，you probably think of multifarious foods.Things were no different for Princess Diana，who would throw dinner parties in her home even after she and Prince Charles divorced.Yet she somehow managed tokeep healthy.

Instead ofmaking the rich food he cooked in Buckingham Palace，McGrady had a new mission （使命）:Keep it healthy.“She said，‘You take care of the fats，and I'll take care of the carbohydrate（碳水化合物）at the gym，’”he said.That meant no red meat，and eating nutritious（有營養的）dishes.

“Princess Diana wouldtreat herself to favorites，like bread and butter pudding，every now and then，but in general she kept up a strict diet，”said Mc－Grady.Even during parties，she'd manage tostick withlight meals.Diana's plate would look just like everyone else's，but they wouldn't leave her overweight.So what was her secret？

“There were times when guests came for meals，and they would be eating full-fat foods but she would have the fat-free food，”said Mc－Grady.“So if she wanted to serve tomato mousse（慕斯），she'd make hers with fat-free mayonnaise（蛋黃醬）but the dish for everyone else is the traditional recipe.But the guests had no idea there were two kinds of foods.It looked like she was eating just as much as they were，but her portion was lower in calories.”
