揮槳重慶合川 12個國家和地區龍舟隊競技“世界杯”

三江碧水賽龍舟，江城百舸競風流。

10月20日—21日，2018國際龍舟聯合會世界杯龍舟賽（中國·重慶合川）在合川城區涪江水域舉行。來自全球12個國家和地區的龍舟隊參加比賽，角逐總額高達180萬元的獎金。

國際龍舟聯合會世界杯簡稱“龍舟世界杯”，每兩年舉辦一屆，代表了當今世界龍舟的最高水平。根據競賽規程，只有龍舟世界錦標賽排名前12位的隊伍才有資格參加本次世界杯賽事，此次拿到世界杯“入場券”的是來自中國、澳大利亞、捷克、加拿大、英國、伊朗、烏克蘭、俄羅斯、瑞士、泰國等12個國家和地區的龍舟隊。

On October 20th to 21th, the International Dragon Boat Federation World Cup (Hechuan, Chongqing, China)in the waters of the Fujiang River in Hechuan city. The dragon boat teams from 12 countries and regions around the world participated in the race and competed for a total prize of 1.8 million yuan.

The International Dragon Boat Federation World Cups is called "Dragon Boat World Cup" for short. It is held every two years and represents the highest level of dragon boat in the world today. According to the race rules, only the top 12 teams in the Dragon Boat World Championships are eligible to participate in this World Cup. The tickets for the World Cup are from 12 countries and regions including Australia,Czech Republic, China, Canada, the United Kingdom, Iran,Ukraine, Russia, Switzerland, Thailand etc.

此次比賽執行國際龍舟聯合會競賽規則，采取預賽、半決賽、決賽方式進行。12支隊伍逐一參與100米、200米、500米混合組直道競速，400米團隊接力賽和1000米團隊追逐賽等項目比拼。在為期兩天的比賽中，中國隊憑借驚人的實力斬獲4金1銀，以總分72分的絕對優勢名列第一，加拿大隊與泰國隊分別以57分、55分位列總分第二、三名。

合川因水而興，得水而美，緣水而盛。依水而居的合川人，世代與江為伴，天性熱愛龍舟競技，鐘愛龍舟文化。近年來，合川已連續舉辦中華龍舟大賽重慶合川站比賽等10多項大型賽事，“龍舟之鄉”美名享譽中外。龍舟已成為合川參與廣泛的群眾性活動，成為傳承文化習俗、保存文化記憶的載體。

The race was implemented according to the rules of the International Dragon Boat Federation, and was held in the preliminaries, semi-finals and finals. The 12 teams participated in the 100m, 200m, and 500m mixed group straight races, and the 400m team relay race and the 1000m team pursuit race. In the twoday competition,China scored 4 gold and 1 silver with amazing strength, ranking fi rst with 72 points. Canada and Thailand ranked second and third with 57 points and 55 points respectively.

"Hechuan is prospered by water,beautiful by water and prosperous by water." Hechuan people who live alongside the water are friends with the river for generations. They love the Dragon Boat Race as well as the dragon boat culture. In recent years, Hechuan has successively held more than 10 large-scale events such as the China Dragon Boat Race, Chongqing Hechuan Station Competition. Hechuan is titled the “Hometown of Dragon Boat”, enjoying a good reputation both at home and abroad. Dragon Boat has become a mass activity in Hechuan, and has become a carrier for inheriting cultural customs and preserving cultural memories.
