Focusing on International MedicalHealth Services

I n 1990, the Shennongjia Forestry District was listed as a member of the Man and Biosphere Program by the United Nations Educational,Scientific,and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).Among the 193 biogeographic regions on this list in the world,it is the most typical and well-preserved ecosystem in the middle latitudes.

On August 6,2018,the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies approved the founding of the Forest Health Research Committee and set up its secretariat in Shennongjia,signifying the first professional forest health research organization in Hubei Province.Its founding was an important event in Shennongjia.

Sang Binsheng,secretary-general of the federation,said that Chinese medicines had been applied and made use of by 183 countries and regions in the world at present.As the world’s largest international academic organization, the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies has 264 group members and 175 branches in 69 countries and regions on five continents.It is a full member of the World Health Organization, an Accredited Advisory Institution of UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection,and the A-level liaison Organization of the ISO/TC249.

The federation has always been committed to the international interaction of Chinese medicine.It engages in organizing this forum,trying to play a leading role in the field of international healthcare in the following three aspects:One is to set up an international platform of Chinese medicine healthcare; the second is to establish cooperation with other regions and provinces to explore the workable modes of Chinese medicine and healthcare;and the third is to offer the solutions on the integration of Chinese medicine and healthcare,the protection and utilization of Chinese medicinal material resources,and the development of the forest health industry as well as forestry tourism and other development modes,in line with the policies of“Belt and Road Initiative,”thus enabling Chinese medicine to serve people better worldwide.

放眼國際服務健康

1990年，神農架林區加入聯合國教科文組織“人和生物圈計劃”世界生物圈保護區網，它在全球193個生物地理省中，代表了中緯度地區最具典型意義的、保存完好的生態系統。

2018年8月6日，世界中醫藥學會聯合會，批準成立森林康養研究專業委員會，秘書處設在神農架，成為湖北省首個專業森林康養研究組織。這件事對于神農架具有重要而現實的意義。

聯合會秘書長桑濱生介紹，當前，中醫藥在國際上已經走進全球183個國家和地區。作為全球最大的中醫藥國際學術組織，世界中聯已擁有全球五大洲69個國家和地區的264個團體會員，175個分支機構，是世界衛生組織非政府組織正式成員、聯合國教科文組織非物質文化遺產咨詢機構，是國家標準化組織中醫藥技術委員會的A級聯絡組織。

世界中聯一直以來致力于中醫藥國際傳播，參與組織本次論壇，是為了更好發揮中醫藥在國際大健康領域的作用。一是搭建國際中醫藥健康養生交流平臺；二是與有健康養生特色的省份和地區合作，探索中醫藥健康養生的產業融合模式；三是助力“一帶一路”建設，研究中國方案，探討中醫藥健康養生新模式、中藥材資源保護與利用、森林康養產業發展和林業養生旅游等方面發展途徑，讓中醫藥更好地為世界人民健康做貢獻。
