多個形容詞修飾同一個名詞時，它們的位置基本順序為：限定詞（冠詞、指示代詞、物主代詞、數詞等）+表示觀點的描述性形容詞+大小、長短、高低、形狀+年齡、新舊+顏色+國籍、地區+物質材料+中心詞。

3. Is Peter tall or short？

彼得長得高還是矮？

這是一個選擇疑問句，其結構是：一般疑問句+or+選擇內容，其回答不能用Yes或No來直接回答，必須從二者中選其一，二者都選或都不選。

each adj. & pron. 每個，各自

（1） adj.“各自的，每個的”，后接單數名詞。

There are many trees on each side of the river.

河流兩岸有許多樹。

（2） pron.“各自，每個”，直接作主語或賓語。each單獨作主語或each修飾的單數名詞作主語時，謂語動詞為單數形式；each of+名詞復數作主語時，后面的謂語動詞用單數，因為each才是主語。

Each student should study hard.

每個學生都應該刻苦學習。

3. Another woman says，“He is tall and thin ...”

另一位女士說：“他又高又瘦……”

another adj. & pron. 另一；又一，表示（三者或以上中）另外任意一個，后跟單數名詞。

I dont like this pen. Please give me another one.

我不喜歡這支筆，請另外拿一支。

4. I like him because he is really cool and fun ...

我喜歡他，因為他非常酷又有趣……

because conj. “因為”，表直接原因，回答why的提問，一般放在主句之后。

— Why do you like this book？

你為什么喜歡這本書？

— Because its interesting.

因為它很有趣。

注意：because與so不能同時出現在一個句子中。

因為我每天都跑步，所以我很強壯。
