1. Is there a hospital near here？

這是一個(gè)there be句型。結(jié)構(gòu)：there be+sb/sth +地點(diǎn)，表示在某地有某人或某物（there是引導(dǎo)詞沒(méi)有詞義；be 是謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞；某人/物是主語(yǔ)，地點(diǎn)作狀語(yǔ)，多為介詞短語(yǔ)）。如：

There is a bank in the neighborhood.

附近有一家銀行。

注意：

（1） there be句型的謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞be在人稱和數(shù)上應(yīng)與后面的第一個(gè)名詞保持一致。如果后面的名詞是可數(shù)名詞單數(shù)或不可數(shù)名詞，謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞用is；如果后面的名詞是可數(shù)名詞復(fù)數(shù)，be 動(dòng)詞用are。如：

There is a boy and two girls in the room.

房間里有一個(gè)男孩兩個(gè)女孩。

There is some salad on the table.

桌上有一些沙拉。

There are some students in the classroom.

教室里有幾個(gè)學(xué)生。

（2） there be句型的一般疑問(wèn)句是將be動(dòng)詞提到句首。肯定回答：Yes，there is /are；否定回答：No，there isnt/arent。如：

— Is there a bank near here？

這附近有銀行嗎？

— Yes， there is. / No， there isnt.

是的，有。/ 不，沒(méi)有。

（3） There be句型的否定句是在be動(dòng)詞后加not。如：

There isnt a post office near hear.

這周圍沒(méi)有郵局。

2. The pay phone is across from the library.

付費(fèi)電話在圖書館對(duì)面。

across from是方位介詞短語(yǔ)，意為“在……對(duì)面”。常見的方位介詞短語(yǔ)有：next to 在……旁邊，between ... and ... 在……和……之間，in front of 在……前面，in the front of 在……的前部。如：

The bank is next to the library.

銀行在圖書館旁邊。

The garden is between a school and a store.

花園在一所學(xué)校和一家商店之間。

He is in front of the restaurant.

他在館子前面。（餐館外）

He is in the front of the classroom.

他在教室前面。（教室內(nèi)）

3. Oh ... wheres Center Street？

噢……中央街在哪里？

where是特殊疑問(wèn)詞，含有“哪里，某地”的意思，一般用來(lái)詢問(wèn)地點(diǎn)。where引導(dǎo)疑問(wèn)句時(shí)，主謂要求倒裝，且助動(dòng)詞必須與后面的主語(yǔ)保持一致。如：

— Wheres the park？

公園在哪里？

— Its on Center Street.

它在中央街。

— Where are the books？

書在哪里？

— They are on the desk.

— Where do you live？

你住在哪里？

— I live in Changsha.

1. Turn right at the first crossing and the restaurant

（1） crossing n. 十字路口

turn left/right at the + 序數(shù)詞 + crossing = take the + 序數(shù)詞 + crossing on the left/right，意為“在第幾個(gè)十字路口向左/右轉(zhuǎn)”。

Turn left at the second crossing.

= Take the second crossing on the left.

在第二個(gè)十字路口向左轉(zhuǎn)。

（2） on ones left 在某人的左邊；on ones right 在某人的右邊。

Zhang Feng is sitting on my left.

張峰坐在我的左邊。

2. There is a zoo in my neighborhood.

我家附近有一個(gè)動(dòng)物園。

“在附近”可以用near here，around here和in ones neighborhood來(lái)表示。

Is there a post office near here？

= Is there a post office around here？

= Is there a post office in your neighborhood？

這附近有郵局嗎？

3. To get there， I usually walk out and turn right on

Bridge Road. Then I walk along Bridge Road.

The zoo is on the right.

要去那兒（動(dòng)物園）的話，我通常步行外出，在大橋路向右拐。然后我沿著大橋路直走，動(dòng)物園就在右邊了。
