Based on the panel data of industries during 1997-2015,the paper measures change rate of TFP and its decomposition with DEA-Malmquist index.We find that,due to the drop of technical progress,the change rate of TFP shows a decreasing trend and cannot effectively support the high-end development of the industry.Obviously,there is aceilingeffect.Then,the paper suggests that the root of theceilingeffect lies in the lack of core technology.Finally,taking wearable technology as an example,the paper analyses the core technology of wearable products in US and China and suggests some strategies of technological development,such as to innovate core technology and develop technology in diversified fields.

Focusing on whether the information technology investment may promote the business performance of different sizes and taking manufacturing enterprises in Zhejiang Province as example,the paper studies the effect of information technology investment of enterprises with different sizes on the performance of enterprises.The results show that the impact of information technology investment on large enterprise performance is not significant while it has significant positive effects for small and medium-sized enterprise performance.It means that,when the enterprise scale is small,the information investment can effectively promote enterprise performance.However,as the business scale expands,the influence of information investment on the performance of enterprises will be reduced.
