On the innovative application of Chinese traditional cultural elements in modern children's wear design

Abstract: with the opening of the national two-child policy, designers have turned their attention to the field of children's wear one after another.Through the implication of the traditional children's wear design and the innovative application of the traditional elements in the modern children's wear design, this paper provides the theoretical basis for the latter research.

Chinese traditional culture is rich and colorful, providing vast design space for fashion designers, implementation and application of the national two-child policy, and providing theoretical basis for the new development of children's clothing market.Children's clothing is one of the modern clothing categories, but the establishment of children's clothing design is the end of the 18th century.Before that,children's clothing was mainly a miniature version of adult clothes.In the late 19th century, children's clothing was designed to be functional in line with children's development.After the 1930s, China's children's wear market began to recover.Species diversity of Chinese traditional children's clothes, contain thick national culture to more natural things as a template, combined with the colorful decorations, using traditional craft technique, make the children's clothes is full of artistic sense and sense of place, to the children's clothes and ornaments, is to enhance the aesthetic value of children's clothes, also consistent with children's psychological development, meet the design requirements of children's clothing design and culture connotation.

With the continuous improvement of people's living standard and aesthetic ability, children's clothes no longer only meet basic practical needs.Parents seek distinctive, character, high quality children's wear, beautiful sex and safety for the integration of children's clothes,which requires the children's clothing design conforms to the trend of The Times demand, the design can meet the demand of consumers of children's clothes.In the design, children's clothing's personality,function and cultural connotation are paid attention to so that children's clothing can meet children's physiological and psychological needs.

(1)modeling

The modelling design of children's wear basically reflects in its modelling beauty and comfortable space sense.In the modern children's clothing design, Chinese traditional culture elements reflect form bionic modelling in children's wear, children's clothing designer using the principle of bionics design, to extract the traditional culture elements in the typical design or pattern, the imitation of biochemical design, can not only reflect the children's interest, and can improve the aesthetic ability of clothing and visual effect, can stimulate the imagination of children,to some extent in Lawrence xu haute couture conference, he will be the embodiment of the dunhuang flying image lifelike on children's clothes,the temperament of ascending children, inspire children's imagination.

As the children's physical and psychological changes, understanding and perception of color is more and more sensitive, scientific and reasonable collocation and the use of color can promote the formation of a child's mental development and good character, ascending children's visual taste.Modern children's wear designer chooses the corresponding color according to the characteristics of children's growth in different stages.Children's clothing color highlights bright and lively feeling,multi-purpose contrast color; Small children's clothing mainly reflects children's curiosity, the characteristics of active, mostly use high color,high brightness and other bright and bright color combination; The color collocation of Chinese children's clothing and big children's clothing has great freedom, mainly reflects the mental style of children's health and upward in this period, and its prominent feature is the universal application of popular colors.In the eyes of children's wear designers,the main source of these colors is traditional pattern elements or natural primary colors.The traditional patterns are rich in color and meet the color requirements of children's wear design.

With the opening of the national policy, the children's wear market ushered in a new spring.This paper through the innovation of the traditional culture element in modern children's clothing design application, from the children's clothing design modelling, colour,design, three sides facing the children's wear specific analysis, transfer the extensive and profound Chinese traditional culture.The application of Chinese traditional cultural elements in children's wear can not only improve the fashion sense and visual aesthetic appreciation of children's wear, but also bring great economic benefits to the children's wear market.
