● 吳康明會見新加坡駐成都總領事顏呈吉和候任總領事彭志威

2017年12月20日，重慶市政府外事僑務辦主任吳康明會見了即將離任的新加坡駐成都總領事顏呈吉和候任總領事彭志威。吳康明說，顏呈吉總領事在3年任期內，積極推動重慶與新加坡在金融服務、航空、交通物流和信息通信技術等領域的合作取得積極成效。特別是2015年11月，中新（重慶）戰略性互聯互通示范項目啟動，標志著兩地經貿交流與合作進入了新階段。為感謝顏呈吉所作出的貢獻，吳康明為他頒發了“重慶友好使者證書”。

隨后，吳康明對彭志威總領事的到任表示歡迎，他簡要介紹了重慶市經濟社會發展情況，希望彭志威繼續積極參與中新示范項目建設，充分發揮橋梁紐帶作用，促進兩地增進了解、擴大交流，引導更多企業來渝投資。

顏呈吉和彭志威對重慶市政府外事僑務辦給予新加坡駐成都總領事館工作的大力支持表示衷心感謝，期待雙方在已有的合作基礎上，繼續保持緊密聯系，推動更廣更深領域的務實合作。

● 吉爾吉斯斯坦議會代表團來渝訪問

2017年12月3日—6日，吉爾吉斯斯坦議會預算和財政委員會副主席扎馬爾季諾夫率團來渝訪問。代表團參觀考察了兩江新區、保稅港區和力帆集團，與市物流辦進行工作座談，了解重慶對外開放合作情況，商洽推動在機械制造、物流、商貿等領域的合作事宜。

中聯部六局有關負責人陪同客人在渝訪問。重慶市政府外事僑務辦副主任王雯參加上述部分活動。

● 埃塞俄比亞駐華大使貝爾哈奈·蓋布里克里斯托斯來渝訪問

2017年12月22日—23日，埃塞俄比亞駐華大使貝爾哈奈·蓋布里克里斯托斯一行來渝訪問，埃塞俄比亞駐重慶總領事凱貝德·阿貝拉等陪同參觀考察。在三圣實業集團，雙方就進一步擴展職業教育、醫療及酒店業等方面的合作進行了探討交流；在重慶咖啡交易中心，蓋布里克里斯托斯大使鼓勵其與埃方開展咖啡種植、生產、加工、銷售等全產業鏈合作；在重慶力帆集團，代表團對其在埃塞俄比亞的投資表示贊許，希望力帆發揮在埃塞汽車業領頭羊的作用，帶動更多企業在埃投資；在東方鑫源控股有限公司，雙方就繼續深化在汽車等領域的投資合作事項交換了意見，達成合作共識。

● 唐文出席韓國慶尚南道與中國友好地方政府交流會

應韓國慶尚南道駐中國代表處邀請，重慶市政府外事僑務辦副主任唐文于2017年11月30日—12月1日，赴青島出席了慶尚南道與中國友好地方政府交流會。來自重慶、山東、黑龍江、吉林、陜西、西藏等省自治區直轄市的外事部門相關領導，與慶尚南道駐中國代表處首席代表金萬龍共同出席。唐文作為中方代表，介紹了重慶市經濟社會發展、投資環境及與韓交往的情況。他表示，重慶與慶尚南道同是中韓兩國重要的工業基地，合作空間廣泛，未來可進一步開展機械、汽車零部件、休閑養老、旅游、電子產業等領域的交流與合作。

● 以色列駐成都領事館商務領事艾曄樂訪渝

2017年12月20日，為慶祝中以兩國建交25周年，以色列駐成都領事館商務領事艾曄樂來渝訪問重慶市農業委員會，并出席重慶—以色列農業科技交流會。

艾曄樂說：“我們在重慶看到了非常多的機會，我們會把這些好的機會告訴以色列，同時也會把以色列的機會帶給重慶。這次會議除農業方面的交流外，還有制造業。重慶有很多的工廠，同時也有大公司在建廠，我們希望能夠充分地利用這些條件，促進以色列企業跟重慶當地企業或者工廠去合作。”

會上，雙方代表就不同領域的技術交流作了發言。20日下午，雙方人員前往南岸區迎龍鎮參觀吳小平葡萄園。

● 2017年海外華裔青少年“中國尋根之旅”音樂營—重慶營開營

由國務院僑務辦公室主辦，重慶市政府外事僑務辦和重慶師范大學共同承辦的2017年海外華裔青少年“中國尋根之旅”音樂營—重慶營，12月11日在重慶師范大學大學城校區開營。重慶師范大學黨委書記曾禮、市政府外事僑務辦副巡視員王廣成等相關領導，與來自南非、馬來西亞、澳大利亞3個國家的120位華裔青少年歡聚一堂，共同開啟這一精彩而難忘的尋根之旅。本次音樂營歷時15天，營員們學習了漢語、民族舞蹈、武術、書法、茶藝等中國傳統文化課程，還參觀了世界文化遺產大足石刻，體驗了綦江農民版畫。

● 重慶大學霍英東體育中心奠基

2018年1月6日，重慶大學霍英東體育中心捐贈暨奠基活動在虎溪校區舉行。澳門霍英東基金會捐資人民幣3000萬元用于該體育中心建設。

澳門霍英東基金會主席霍震寰一行、教育部港澳臺事務辦公室主任劉錦、香港特區政府駐重慶聯絡處署理主任陳淑瑾、重慶市委統戰部副部長史全波、重慶市港澳事務辦公室副主任張婭茜、重慶市沙坪壩區副區長周紅玲等出席活動。

重慶大學霍英東體育中心總建筑面積6.25萬平方米，占地面積3.46萬平方米，總投資約4.17億元。該體育中心引入了“體育街”和“動步系統”，建成后將為該校師生員工及校園周邊提供全天候室內體育運動和健身場所，可開展足球、籃球、羽毛球、乒乓球、排球、游泳等競技類運動，滿足健美操、柔道、瑜伽等多種類的健身要求。

Wu Kangming Met Yan Chengji, Consul General of Singapore in Chengdu, and Peng Zhiwei, Consul General Designate

On December 20, 2017, Wu Kangming, director of Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Chongqing People’s Government, met Yan Chengji, the outgoing Consul General of Singapore in Chengdu, and Peng Zhiwei, Consul General designate. Wu Kangming said that during his three years in office, the Consul General Yan Chengji has mad lots of effective and efficient efforts to advance the cooperation in the industry offinancial service, aviation, transport and logistics and information and communication technology between China (Chongqing) and Singapore. Especially in November 2015, the demonstration project of strategic connectivity was launched, which marked the exchange and cooperation in bilateral economic and trade entering into a new stage. To thank Yan Chengji for his contribution, Wu Kangming awarded him “Certificate of a Goodwill Ambassador in Chongqing”.

He then extended his welcome to Peng Zhiwei for his taking office and made a brief presentation on the economic and social development of Chongqing. Wu Kangming hoped that Peng Zhiwei, playing the role of “bridge”, would continue to actively take part in the demonstration project to advance mutual understanding and exchange, to bring in more enterprises to invest Chongqing.

Yan Chengji and Peng Zhiwei extended their thanks to Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Chongqing People’s Government for its support to Consulate General of Singapore in Chengdu. They looked forward to continuing to maintain close contacts on the basis of existing cooperation and fueling wider and deeper effective cooperation.

Parliamentary Delegations of Kyrgyzstan Visited Chongqing

From December 3, 2017 to December 6, Zamadunov,the deputy chairman of the parliamentary budget and finance committee of Kyrgyzstan, and his delegations visited Chongqing. The delegations visited Liangjiang New Area, bonded areas and Lifan Group Corporation,communicated with municipal logistics office, knew about the cooperation and opening up of Chongqing and discussed the promotion of cooperation in machinery manufacturing, logistics and trade.

Relevant officers of the sixth bureaus of International Department of Central Committee of CPC accompanied guests visiting Chongqing. Wang Wen, the deputy director of Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Chongqing People’s Government, participated in parts of the above activities.

Brhane Gebrekirstos, the Ambassador of Ethiopia in China Visited Chongqing

From December 22, 2017 to December 23, with the company of Mr. Kebede Abera Ido, Consul General of Ethiopia in Chongqing,Mr. Brhane Gebrekirstos the Ambassador of Ethiopia in China,and his party visited Chongqing. The two sides had discussed and exchanged on cooperation in further expanding vocational education, medical treatment, hotel industry and so on in Sansheng Industrial Co. Ltd. At Chongqing Coffee Exchange, Mr.Gebrekirstos encouraged industrial chain cooperation in coffee planting, production, processing and sales between Chongqing Coffee Exchange and Ethiopia. At Lifan Group Corporation, the representatives extended their appreciation on its investment in Ethiopia. At Shineray Co., Ltd., both corporations and representatives exchanged views and reached a consensus on investment cooperation in automobile industry.

Tang Wen Attended Friendly Exchange Meeting Between Gyeongsangnam-do of Korea and Chinese Local Governments

At the invitation of representatives of Gyeongsangnam-do of Korea in China, Tang Wen, the deputy director of Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Chongqing People’s Government, came to Qingdao to attend friendly exchange meeting between Gyeongsangnam-do and Chinese local governments from November 30, 2017 to December 1. Leaders of the Foreign Affairs Office from Chongqing municipality,Shandong province, Helongjiang province, Jilin province,Shaanxi province and Tibet Autonomous Region, together with Jin Wanlong, the chief delegation of Gyeongsangnam-do in China, attended the meeting. As a representative of China,Tang Wen presented the economic and social development,investment environment of Chongqing and exchanges between Korea and Chongqing. He said that Chongqing and Gyeongsangnam-do were important industrial bases respectively in China and Korea, which have extensive cooperation space, so the two cities are able to advance the exchange and cooperation in machinery, auto parts, leisure pension, tourism, electronic industry and so on.

Yair Albin, the lsrael Commercial Consul at Chengdu Consulate,Visited Chongqing

On December 20, 2017, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between China and Israel,Yair Albin, the Israel commercial consul at Chengdu Consulate,visited Chongqing Municipal Agricultural Commission for Chongqing-Israel Agriculture, Science and Technology Exchange Conference in Chongqing.

He said: “we have seen many opportunities in Chongqing, and we will tell Israel these good opportunities, and meanwhile, we will bring the opportunities from Israel to Chongqing. Besides exchanging views on agriculture, we will exchange views on

manufacturing industry. There are many factories in Chongqing,and some big companies are building their factories here. We hope that we can make full use of these advantages to promote cooperation between Israel enterprises and native enterprises or factories of Chonqing.”

At the meeting, representatives from both sides made speeches on technological exchanges in different fields. On the afternoon of December 20, representatives from both sides went to Yinglong Town in Nan'an District to visit Wu Xiaoping Vineyard.

The Opening of Chongqing Camp of“Root-seeking Music Camp in China” for Teenagers of Overseas Chinese in 2017

With the organization of Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council, Chongqing camp of“Root-seeking Music Camp in China” for teenagers of overseas Chinese was opened in December 11,at the university town campus of Chongqing Normal University, which was co-hosted by the Foreign Affairs Office of Chongqing municipal government and Chongqing Normal University. Zeng Li, the Secretary of Party Committee of Chongqing Normal University, and Wang Guangcheng, the subinspector of the Foreign Affairs Office of Chongqing municipal government, got together with 120 Chinese teenagers from South Africa, Malaysia and Australia to jointly open the wonderful and forgettable journey of seeking roots. The music camp lasted 15 days. These teenagers learned Chinese traditional cultural courses such as Chinese, folk dance,kungfu, calligraphy and tea ceremony, and visited Dazu Rock Carvings, Material Cultural Heritage, and experienced the print of Qijiang.

Groundbreaking Ceremony of Chongqing University Fok Ying Tung Sports Center

On January 6, 2018, Chongqing University Fok Ying Tung Sports Center Donation and Groundbreaking Ceremony was held in the Huxi campus.Macau Fok Ying Tung Foundation has donated 30 million yuan for the construction of the Sports Center.

Mr. Huo Zhenhuan, Chairman of Macau Fok Ying Tung Foundation, Liu Jin, Director of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Office of the Ministry of Education, Chen Shujin, Acting Director of Chongqing Liaison Office of the HKSAR Government, Shi Quanbo, Deputy Minister of the United Front Work Department of Chongqing Municipality, Zhang Yaqian,Deputy Director of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Office of Chongqing Municipality, and Zhou Hongling, Vice Mayor of Shapingba District have jointly attended the event.

The total construction area of Chongqing University Huo Yingdong Sports Center is 62,500 square meters with a total investment of about 417 million yuan and the floor area of it amounts up to 34,600 square meters. “Sports Street” and “Sports System” have been introduced into the Sports Center. When the center is completed, it will provide all-day indoor sports and fitness venues for teachers, students and the university surroundings. Football, basketball, badminton, table tennis, volleyball,swimming and other competitive sports are provided; also aerobics, judo,yoga and other types of fitness requirements will be met.
