排爆專家王百姓 Explosives expert Wang Baixing

2005年11月20日上午9時30分，河北魏縣，一個自稱是郵遞員的人，把一個包裹送給檢察院的楊姓檢察官。老楊一看郵寄地址，說：“在這個地方，我沒有認識的人。”同事開玩笑說：“老楊，是不是炸彈？”

老楊打了110。魏縣公安局將包裹拿到魏縣人民醫院X光機上，果然是炸彈。他們請了當地很多人，排除不了，最后決定讓我來。

我拿著兩張X光片看，越看心里越發怵。我能行嗎？

到了邯鄲，我把炸彈的外殼打開，發現里面是又粗又高的一個圓筒。從上午10點到下午6點，我無從下手，因為里面太復雜。

河北省的同志說：“王老師，咱不排了，炸了吧。”

我說：“好。”

正在這時，我一看當事人，他臉色特別難看。我馬上收回我的想法，說：“炸了，案件破不了，有人送當事人炸彈，他一輩子都在陰影中生活。”

河北的同志跟我說：“王老師，你拆可以，我們不反對。萬一發生爆炸，我們怎么向公安部交代？怎么向河南省廳交代？怎么向你的家屬交代？”

我說：“我不需要你交代。”

當天晚上，我設計一個排爆方案。首先，我找了一根很粗的無縫鋼管，在鋼管上面，劃開一個長方形的口子，把炸彈放到里面。在鋼管上面，壓的是沙袋子，一旦發生爆炸，爆炸沖擊波通過鋼管兩頭泄出，從這個孔里泄出的爆炸沖擊波，最多能炸掉我一只手，不會將人炸死。

我們做好充分的準備，忙活兩個多小時，才把這個口切開。拿著炸彈，把藥一點一點倒出來，有一公斤炸藥和半公斤自行車鋼珠。

你想想，一公斤炸藥，加上那么多鋼珠，一旦發生爆炸，不知道要造成多大的傷亡。

這么多年，我排除了那么多炸彈，只要一枚出現問題，我可能就完了。

1998年6月27日，河南省郟縣三郎廟村，發現一枚汽車炸彈。炸彈綁在汽車的后盤下。我往汽車底下一看，看到一截天線，我拔腿就跑。

All those years with so many bomb disposal tasks, I could have been dead if even one mission went wrong.

On June 27, 1998, a car bomb was discovered in Sanlangmiao Village, Xia County, Henan Province. The bomb was tied under a car. I crawled under and saw the end of an antenna. I jumped up and ran.

“Guys, run!” I yelled. “It’s a remote-controlled bomb. We haven’t caught the person yet.This person could be just around here watching.”

We could have been fi nished if we’d stayed too long under the car and the criminal hit the button.We moved everyone 200 meters away. I returned under the car and cut the antenna.

What was next after cutting the antenna? No matter how dangerous this was, I had to try. It was a brand new car which hadn’t even been registered. So I crawled under the car and felt my pulse.It was racing. I crawled out and drank a bottle of water to steady myself. I went back down and felt my pulse again. It was still beating fast. I came out again.

I tried to calm myself. I asked my colleagues to take two photos of me and record my disposal. I thought that with these photos, if the bomb exploded, I would have left something for my family and a lesson for my peers.

After all was ready, I calmly went under the car again. 12 wires were categorized, and I cut them one-by-one until only two remained. I couldn’t decide.

I lay under the car looking up at the bomb and deliberated. If I got it right, I’d be safe. Otherwise,it might explode and both the car and I would be destroyed.

When my pliers found the yellow wire, an off i cer said, “Take your time and make the right choice.”

To be honest, I wasn’t sure. I put the pliers to the yellow wire and closed my eyes. I thought thiswas it. A couple of seconds passed and I knew I was safe. I had cut the right wires.

我說：“同志們，快點兒跑，那是一個遙控炸彈。現在，犯罪分子還沒有歸案，很可能就在人群里面。”

如果我們趴的時間長了，犯罪分子遙控開關，我們可能就完了。在這種情況下，我們先把群眾疏散到200米以外，然后，我鉆到汽車底下，剪斷了接收天線。

面對剪斷天線的炸彈，怎么辦？無論怎么危險，我都得排，這是老百姓買的新汽車，還沒有掛牌。這時候，我鉆到汽車底下，一摸自己的脈搏，跳得很快。我從汽車底下爬出來，喝了一瓶礦泉水，穩了穩情緒，鉆進去了，一摸脈搏，跳得特別快，我又出來。

再次穩定情緒以后，我讓隨行的同志給我拍了兩張照片，再把我排彈的過程錄下來。當時我就想，照相以后，萬一發生爆炸，給我的家人有一個交代，也給我的同行留下教訓。

一切工作做好以后，我平靜地鉆到車底下，把12根導線一一分類，然后一一剪斷。最后剩下兩根，我拿不定主意。

我在車底下，臉朝上，看著那個炸彈，一再思考：剪對了，我就安全了；如果剪錯了，可能會發生爆炸，車毀人亡。

當鉗子卡到黃線的時候，一個領導說：“慢一點，看準。”

說心里話，我看不準。我把黃線卡到鉗子里面，把眼睛一閉，心想就這根吧。冷靜了十幾秒鐘，我感到安全的線全部被剪完了。

當我捧著炸彈，從車底下出來的時候，全場鴉雀無聲。

我說：“炸彈排除了，這就是那個炸彈。”全場爆發出一陣熱烈的掌聲。

很多同志都說我是幸運的，排了那么多炸彈，都沒有爆炸；勘查過那么多現場，都沒有出現錯案。說我幸運，確實一點兒不假。

在幾十年當中，我目睹很多同志死的死、傷的傷。有些可能是頭年見面，第二年就不見了。排爆工作，本身是一份危險的工作，一只腳在陽間，一只腳在陰間，隨時都有犧牲的可能。

我不會忘記2003年12月16日，三門峽市公安局干警任俊卿，在排爆的時候，發生爆炸，一條腿被炸出一百多米高、幾百米遠，當時就犧牲在現場。

I said, “It’s defused. This is it.”The crowd exploded immediately into a loud applause.

Many people tell me that I am lucky to have gone through so many bombs with zero explosions and to have inspected so many scenes without any misjudgments. It’s true.

In the past few decades, I witnessed so many of the deaths and injuries of my colleagues.Some of them I met in one year and were never able to see again in the following years. Bomb disposal is full of danger. It is like putting one foot in the grave. One needs to be ready to sacrifice one’s life at any time.

I will never forget the day of December 16, 2003, when my colleague Ren Junqin, an officer from the Sanmenxia City Public Security Bureau, sacrif i ced his life when he tried to defuse a bomb.The explosion killed him instantly,and one of his legs was blasted more than 100 meters high and hundreds of meters away.

December 20 was the day we said goodbye to Ren Junqin. I traveled from Zhengzhou City to Sanmenxia City to be there specifically. At the funeral, I saw the eulogy on the elegiac couplets.The fi rst line says, “Sacrif i ce for the safety of people,” and the second line reads, “Eternal the brave soul.”They touched me. These were for Ren Junqin, but they could just as easily have been for me. If I died of my tasks and my last portrait hung there, the same couplets would have fi t for me.

His family was weeping their hearts out. What could one say to a widowed wife and a son who just lost his father? No words could help.

They are the spouses and children of policemen. I am a person of flesh and blood, and I,too, have a family. Every time I go out on a mission, my wife prepares my luggage in silence and only asks one thing before I leave, “Baixing,call me after you fi nish.”

She won’t say another word.My daughter holds onto my hand tightly and won’t let me go.

One year, I dealt with a bomb case in Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province. During the day I inspected the scene, and at night I studied the case. I forgot to call them.

The next morning, my daughter called and cried as she heard me.“Dad, why didn’t you call us? We didn’t sleep last night.”

12月20日是給任俊卿送行的日子，我專程從鄭州趕到三門峽，到了殯儀館，看到上面掛了一副挽聯，上聯寫的是“為人民排憂患粉身碎骨”，下聯寫的是“驚天地泣鬼神英靈長存”。我想了很多很多。這是送給任俊卿的嗎？好像是送給我的，如果我犧牲了，遺像掛在中間，這副挽聯對我也很適用。

他的家屬哭得死去活來，面對失去丈夫的妻子、失去父親的兒子，你能說什么？說任何話都無濟于事。

這就是我們警察的家屬、我們警察的子女。我也是一個有血有肉的人，有一個溫暖的家庭。每次去現場，妻子總是默默地給我準備行裝，臨出門時，總是一句話：“百姓，完成任務，打個電話。”

她不會再說第二句話。我的女兒緊緊拉著我的手，不愿松開。

有一年，石家莊發生爆炸案件，白天，我忙著勘查現場，夜里，忙著研究案情，沒有及時給她們娘兒倆回話。

第二天早上，女兒打來電話，哭著說：“爸爸呀，你為啥不給俺媽回個電話，讓我和媽媽一晚上沒睡。”

聽著孩子的哭聲，我也哭了。?
