2. Ability aims：To make students learn how to write an argumentation.To make students master the main structures of this kind of composition.

3. Emotion aims：To cultivate students’ confidence in english.To motivate students’ thinking about the topic whether it is wise to make friends online.

Teaching important points：To make students remember some useful sentences ，phrases and words.To give students some chances to express their ideas in english.To enable students to learn the way how to write an argumentation.

Teaching procedures：

Step 1： Lead-in

1.Ask students some questions to creat a relaxing atmosphere. eg： Do you have best friends ？ Who is your best friend ？ Where did you make friends with him/her ？2.According to students’ answers ，fill in the chart and ask one more question to lead in the topic.（圖略） eg： Have you heard of making friends online？

Step 2： Discussion

1.Let students work in groups to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of making friends online and write down them on the paper.
