In November 2nd， the first industrial foreign investment project of Guolian Group-Wuxi No.1 Cotton Mill Ethiopia Textile Manufacturing Base was officially signed. The old brand textile enterprise - Wuxi No.1 Cotton Mill was going to construct a textile manufacturing base of 300，000 spindles in Ethiopia， so as to accelerate the step of “going global”. The textile manufacturing base project signed this time is another important practice of Wuxi enterprises to respond to the national “The Belt and Road Initiative” and promote international capacity corporation. The implementation of the project not only can accelerate the step of Wuxi No.1 Cotton Mill to transform and upgrade， but also take the demonstration and leading function for Wuxi enterprises to “go global”.

The vice chairman of Ethiopia National Investment Committee expressed that Ethiopia is striving to study the development model of China and putting great efforts to build its country into the manufacturing center leading in Africa. The investment project of Wuxi No.1 Cotton Mill will help Ethiopia to accelerate the transformation and upgrading of its economic stricture. Ethiopia attached special importance to the construction of this project. It would great efforts to provide support and service， thus ensuring the smooth implementation of the project.

Ms. Regina Brückner， Managing Associate of Brückner Trockentechnik， is the new chairperson of the VDMA Textile Machinery Association. The businesswoman from Leonberg was elected at the members meeting of the Association in Berlin. The new executive board is completed with Ms. Verena Thies， Thies Textilmaschinen， and Mr. Fritz P. Mayer， Karl Mayer Textilmaschinenfabrik， who were elected as vice chairpersons.

After her election， Regina Brückner stated： “I am pleased to have Ms. Thies and Mr. Mayer by my side， the two chairpersons who complement each other very well. Mr. Mayer is an entrepreneurial personality with decades of experience which he is meanwhile bringing in as the president of CEMATEX， the European Committee of Textile Machinery Manufacturers. Ms. Thies assumed responsibility in the family company early on and has been working for the traditional company Thies in international textile machinery business since 2009.”

In November， 9th， the Ministry of Commerce issued the Development Index Report of the China Shopping Mall in the third quarter of 2017.

The report showed that the development index of the China shopping mall in the third quarter is 66.9， a month-on-month increase of 2.1 compared with the second quarter， which presents the positive and upgrading state of the shopping mall center. Thereinto， the status quo index is 63.4， with a month-on-month growth of 5.5 compared with that of the second quarter. It is mainly benefited from the significant improvement of the operation performance index. The cost control has also been improved. However， the expectation index of the entire shopping mall market to the future six months has slight decreased. The expectation index is 72.0， with a chain relative ratio of decreased 3.1 compared with the second quarter.endprint

In November 10th， the General Secretary the CPC Central Committee， the state president of China - Xi Jinping left Beijing and went to Vietnam to attend the 25th Informal APEC Economic Leaders Meetings. Afterwards， he conducted state visit to Vietnam. However， before conducting state visit to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam， president Xi published a signed paper with the title of Open up a new ChinaVietnam situation on The People of Vietnam. In the paper， he pointed out that： in the latest period， the practical cooperation between China and Vietnam continued to have in-depth exploration. “China has maintained the status of the first trade partner of Vietnam. Vietnam has become the biggest trade partner of China in ASEAN countries. In 2016， the bilateral trade value reached almost 100 billion USD. More and more Chinese enterprises invested and promoted business in Vietnam.”

President Xi specially pointed out in this part that： “Texhong Group has operated in Vietnam for over ten years. Its plant newly established in Guangning Province has created over 7，000 employment posts locally. Its stock code is HK 2678 and asset size is over 15 billion. Its business scale can reach 20 billion RMB.

The 18th International Exhibition on Textile Industry （hereinafter as “ShanghaiTex 2017”）， the prime biennial event of the industry is unveiled today at Shanghai New International Expo Centre， Pudong， Shanghai， PR China.
