An Brief ofthe American Female’s View of Love from Gone with the Wind

Abstract：Flowery women and the world is picturesque. The beautiful of women decorate the world and make the world become nice. However， the woman always be considered as the accessory of the man and the status of women cannot compare with men. There are variance cultures in different countries， and they make different influences to peoples idea. This paper will analyze American females view of love through two modes of America marriage family and two typical characteristics of American women. In America， parents always teaching their children try to make friends with the opposite sex when those children were young. Make children touch love very early is for that they can understand what love is and how to see it more clearly. So most American could keep calm when their love appear problems.

There are variance cultures in different countries， and they make different influences to peoples idea. The romantic love of American is begins from dating， young people might have group dates with many boys and girls in several ways， they gain happiness while appoint with different people. Just like Scarlett OHara， the female leading role of Gone with the Wind， she was borne in a rich family and she was on fire for all kinds of parties. This is not only herself， but most America young people enjoy this form of activity. America women could try their best to seek the faith.

1. An Analysis of the Gone with the Wind

1.1 Summary of Gone with the Wind

Scarlett is the daughter of a rich plantation owner who posses quite a lot of money and status. She loves a handsome boy， Ashley， who was growth together with Scarlett. Nevertheless， Ashley would be engaged to another girl， Melanie. Scarlett almost mad even lost her senses. At the same time， a man was sudden appearance. He is Rhett. During the burdensome life， Rhett come to visit Scarlett and hope she would become his inamorata. Though Rhett get Scarlett， her heart was not belongs to him and confused all the time. Rhett felt quiet grieved and he leaved Scarlett after their daughter died. The beautiful and adamant young woman see herself heart clearly at last， she finished packing and looked the sun out of window. She decides to find Rhett back and start a new life.

1.2 The Brief Analysis of the Female Leading Role---Scarlett OHara

Scarlett is the most representative figure among character portrayal in this work. She is the daughter of a Southern plantation and lives in a rich and happy family. When faced the dreadful war and lover marry another woman， she unexpectedly fight with herself matrimony that marry a man who she does not love. She was not sad when her husband dead on battlefield and think the livery of grief should not wore by her. From this active， we can know she is quiet rebellious.

When flames of war spread around the country， Ashleys wife， Melanie was on the point of childbirth. Scarlett takes care of her all the time but never gave up. We can known her honorable quality from this decision of her， and we can see her courageous and resolute. In addition， she has became a capricious and mature woman after alive in the war， do pioneering work and struggle hard amid difficulties. The sea may run dry and the rocks may crumble， but our hearts will always remain loyal. How romantic oath， but there would have one day when our heart become tired.

2. America Womens Ideas of Love from the Gone with the Wind

2.1 Two Modes of America Marriage Family in the Gone with the Wind

According to the American Womens Literature， there are several kinds of modes of the marriage family in America. The first one is the Jewish Christian family， this kind of family with strong religious property. They are very loyalty to each other. Though this is one part of American， we can get that maybe there is a little traditional in hearts of American women. In the Gone with the Wind， Ashley and Melanie， they chose the other one by themselves and they love and understand each other very much. The marriage based on the romantic love is one of the most important faiths of personal happiness that American believes.

Well， we can get another mode of marriage family from Scarlett and Rhett. At first， Scarlett did not love Rhett because she thinks that Ashley was still on her heart， and she was marry Rhett just for build up a family and has a stable life. The goal of the family is just to establish a stable family and they maybe finished the family. American women can receive this kind of family mode， and it was showing they do not want to get everything from men and following their heart all the time.

2.2 Two Characteristics of American Women from Gong with the Wind

We are always focus on the opposite bank that far away from us but forget who are we. Well， we can get American women have four characteristics from the Gong with the Wind. The first one is that she wants to be your friend forever. Scarlett and Ashley were good friends when they were young， and Scarlett still hope get the heart of Ashley after he marry Melanie. Scarlett never hates Ashley and she can even take care of his wife， she never changed the love to Ashley. The kind and over-absorption of American women make them lovelier and this is worth to learning. They just want to protect the warmth of their heart.
