The combined show is beneficiary to good development

ITMA Asia started in Singapore in 2001 followed by 2005. And clearly the main market for textile was China， and the surrounding nations would come to China. So we had discussion with Chinese Textile Machinery Association， CCPITTEX and the partners， and then the first exhibition was set up in 2008 since when we have enjoyed very positive development.

This is considered as a living exhibition in China and all around of Asia. Our members would like to come here. There are a lot of Chinese machinery here， so I think its a wonderful display for the advanced textile technologies and I am very happy with positive development， looking forward to a better future.

The combined show is beneficiary to the surrounding nations， and people even from Europe， from Bangladesh， from so many countries， are coming here to compare and see whats going on. The German， even the European， machinery manufacturers care about China who has special machines for the market； on the other side， there are a lot of investors who buy actually machinery companies in Europe， including Germany and other countries. I dont see any reason to split the show. The contrary is right the development. Both industries that are coming together to face more or less the same challenges we have.

In terms of the market demands for textile machinery in China and even in Asia， of course， the demand in Asia shows a little bit tense because of the situation in the market here， but we are more in the level of advanced machinery and we see that a lot of Chinese and also other Asian news， but according to a lot of Chinese news， they really try to invest to upgrade their production facilities to meet new standards， for example in the dyeing to be more adaptive to meet energy efficiency and so on. So， they invest in highclass machinery.

Our market share in China is higher than in other nations， and there are still a lot of opportunities in China. Spinning has been very good， and of course there are other fields such as knitting which is not so good at the time and has to grow.

This is normally of our industries， having a lot of cycles. But the overall in China is not bad. We are not totally happy with it， because it could be better. As the President of CEMATEX Mr. Mayer mentioned， there is no downturn， but we dont see a big increase in the next months to come. However， its a good stable market.
