Fair competition puts forward the technological progress

As for the combined show， I will talk from the history. From the history， we have had a show in Japan； we have had ITMA Asia show； and we have had CITME show in Beijing. All the organizations realized that they had to combine these shows to one show， because it is a big effort for all the machinery users to go to so many different shows. Chinese market is very important for the European textile machine manufacturers， therefore， we started the cooperation with CITME to make a joint show， and for all these shows， we can also use the brand of ITMA， a very highly reputed and a well-known brand in the world. With ITMA， the combined show in Shanghai has been a real success for the last years， and we think itll definitely continue what we have already made with our Chinese partners for future shows on the same combination.

Although there is negative voice of the combination， I think it is very good for both Chinese and European textile machinery manufacturers to have put the two shows together， where both can show their achievements in the development in the engineering， so the customers have the real comparisons. From the European textile machinery side， we like competition because we believe these competition will become improvement in the further development of the textile machinery.

As for the new technologies in the Europe， there is continuous development in the machinery to save energy. If I take the machines form Karl Mayer for an example， within the last years we have made big progress in saving energy by operating our machines. And Karl Mayer is seeing more improvements in energy saving technologies of textile machinery. This is not only with Karl Mayer， but all European， more than engineering textile machines， because we are always going to have progress.

As I mentioned， we think it is important to have a combined show， so the customers can between the European developments and the Chinese developments， because this is a big showcase for both. And we believe in competition ， as long as it is fair competition. The Europeans dont like so much disrespecting of intellectual property. We like competition， but we like fair competition. The organizers have done a lot of work， supporting the exhibitors strongly in putting through their rights. But this problem is not unique in China. Intellectual property discussions happen all over the world.
