An important concepts of Informa Exhibitions is to provide solutions for perspective industries through innovative content at exhibitions. Therefore, the company is keen on covering comprehensive aspects of the industries it serves. At Informa exhibitions, exhibitors and attendees not only close business deals, but also have the opportunities of catching up with latest industry trends through the rich content of exhibition forums and achieve maximum value from their attendance.
In China, Informa Exhibitions is actively weaving the network through MA. In 2016, the company purchased China Beauty Expo (Chengdu), the biggest professional beauty expo in western China, and before that, China Beauty Expo (Shanghai), another renown beauty expo in China, and today, through the wide global network of the company, the Shanghai Expo has seen even greater scale. While going further on the road of MA in China, the Singapore and Vietnam offices of Informa Exhibitions is expanding business network through the same route. Jack Wei deeply feels the enthusiasm of local governments to develop the exhibition industry and states that in the huge China market, each organizer can exploit abundant opportunities based on their core strength.
After purchasing, Informa would normally keep the original exhibition team and strengthen it with professional staff from Informa Exhibitions. Each year, the headquarter of the company and its worldwide subsidiaries would communicate together for mutual understanding and team building. While in looking for new talents for the fast growing business of the China subsidiary, Jack Wei says he values the determination and passion to stand out in the exhibition industry rather than the applicant has an exhibition career background or not .
