.One day,a farmer passed by a manor and met the owner unexpectedly. The owner looked at the farmer arrogantly and said,“I have the largest sum of money. Why dont you salute me?”
.The farmer was very clever. With his head high,he said to the rich owner,“None of it is mine. Why should I salute you?”
.The farmer refused to do what the rich owner asked him to. The owner was embarrassed. Then he said,“Ill give you half of the coins in my pocket, but you must salute me.”
.The farmer answered with a smile,“Now I have the same sum of money as you,why should I salute you?”
.All the people around burst into laughter. The owner was very angry and began to shout,“You poor man,Ill give you all of the coins, but you must salute me!”
.The farmer put the rest coins into his pocket,“Well, now I have a lot of coins, but you have none, you must salute me now!”
