The principal previously announced that: from Jan. to May in 2016, Yuou Trade has achieved 302 thousand orders of import goods, an online turnover amount of 121 million yuan, besides, a predicted orders of more than 3 million in the whole year of 2016 and the online turnover of 700 million yuan this year will reached. It is well-known that the total turnover of crossborder e-commence reached 780 million yuan in 2015, and this is exactly the reason why we call “an era of substantial growth” of e-commence.

Chongqing is on its way becoming a new highlight of cross-border e-commence

The cross-border e-commence in Chongqing has made many remarkable achievements in the past 6 months: the Chongqing Manifesto , signed by 26 counties and regions, aiming at enhancing the cooperation between each other and promoting the development of e-commence, was officially published; the cross-border e-commence platform driven by our nation located in Chongqing; the 2015 China Cross-border E-commence Research Report was issued in Chongqing in May; China (Chongqing) International Investment and Global Sourcing Fair first had cross-border e-commence exhibition area; the first batch of 19 world famous cross-border e-commence enterprises authorized by Chongqing railway port settled in Chongqing; Australian Goodman Group has already signed a contract entering Chongqing Logistic City, which will be a distribution center of cross-border e-commence and fi nished automobile and its components and parts.

The rapidly developed Chongqing has already been a highlight of cross-border e-commence, except for the big events listed above. On June 7th, People’s Daily spoke highly of one of the biggest cross-border e-commence platforms Dalong.com in Chongqing. As a result, unprecedented attention have been paid to the development of Chongqing cross-border e-commence. Chongqing now goes to the very front of the e-commence field along with the continuously effort opening up.

Chongqing cross-border e-commence was totally activated by both “Eurasia international railway” and multimodel transportation

It is said that in August, 2012, Chongqing was selected as one of the fi rst batch pilot cities; on Nov. 5th, 2013, Chongqing again became the only pilot city possessing all 4 modes of cross-border e-commence service; in 2015, the import manifest checked and permitted by Chongqing custom reached 3.327 million with a value of 786 million yuan, a year-to-year growth of 14.9 times and 12.1 times. Li Qian, deputy director of Chongqing Foreign Economy and Trade Commission said at the interview that Chongqing crossborder e-commence is developing rapidly by virtue of Eurasia international railway.

Li Qian said, Chongqing is the only pilot city possessing all 4 modes of cross-border e-commence service. Huang Xiang, general manager of Chongqing Logistic City said that there are 475 Eurasia international rails of all 1000 China-Europe trains, most half of it. Eurasia international rail has already been a main channel connecting China and Europe and the rail will be planned to start each day this year. Li Yong, director of Regional Economic Research Center of Chongqing Academy of Social Science told the reporter that in the history of the cooperation between crossborder e-commence and bonded area, the cargo is usually transported by sea. Now it is self-evident that time and money will be much more saving through Eurasia international rail. And this is why so many e-commence moguls choose Chongqing starting their business.

In addition, it is reported that the railway to Laos has already been under construction, the next phase of the railway will start from Vientiane passing Mekong, Bangkok and fi nally to Singapore. Once been completed, the railway may be a easy access connecting countries of European Union and East Asia. Chongqing Communication and Transportation Holding (Group) Co., Ltd have opened the logistic platoon from Chongqing to Southeast Asia and more than ten vehicles will be pioneer for the fi rst time, then one vehicle will start each day. They will arrive in Vietnam in three days and in Southeast Asia in four days. As a result, the cargo transported by rail from Europe and Central Asia can be further transported to Southeast Asia by the combined transportation. Besides, Chongqing Logistic City is striving to promote the cooperation among Chongqing rail port, Qinzhou port and Singapore.

The rapid development of cross-border e-commence is not an only phenomena in Chongqing. Yang Bo, secretary general of Chongqing International Strategy Research Institute, pointed out that Chongqing crossborder e-commence should always keep a clear mind, since the highly marketized cross-border e-commence industry will be easily impacted by the external environment. Ever since the publicity of Notice on Implementing New Supervision Requirement of Cross-border E-commence Retail Import by Office of General Administration of Customs (hereafter referred as Notice ), the Chinese cross-border e-commence will come into a stage of reshuffl e after one-year buffer period just like the prediction of some experts.
