Reform path of public English in Colleges and Universities under the guidance of the market economy

【Abstract】Market economy requires education to adapt to the needs of its development， public English teaching should reform the talent training model， the market economy as the guide， follow the market development direction， take the road of combining with the professional.

Public English teaching mode under the traditional college students are often unable to meet the needs of the times and society.The market economy oriented， crucial reform direction of correct positioning of college english.

1. To establish the concept of employment oriented Teaching

In a sense， higher vocational education is a kind of education to face the employment.The school provides “zero training” or short-term training to the society.New type of human resources for professional post. .Adapt to this， higher vocational college EnglishTeaching idea should adapt to higher vocational talents training requirements， training of English ability of vocational college students， not only to lay a solid foundation， more important is to highlight the practical and vocational， the students on the basis of the existing English， in shorter education period master can directly serve the language ability of social and professional jobs.In the new form， the focus of the teaching of higher vocational education should be positioned in the language， emphasizing the main body of speech， language environment and language works.To speech and activities as the main teaching content， the students need is the student employment needs teaching activities as starting point， truly take the student as the center， and the guide students to contact with a large amount of English language and creative to use English language to obtain employment post demand of verbal ability and to realize the goal of Higher Vocational English teaching.

2. Pay more attention to the English teachers' professional training

3. To “post practice” as the principle， optimize the integration of Higher Vocational English Teaching Content

College English teaching should be closely around the requirements of industries and enterprises of foreign language skills， strengthen employment oriented and ability oriented， emphasizing on the application. Study on the use of financial， market oriented， the “basic type” teaching to “application” in English teaching.The curriculum system should strengthen professional knowledge， more should strengthen the training of basic skills， strengthen the ability of practical application.Foreign language listening and speaking， reading， writing and translating the specific goals of language skills and communicative practice into daily teaching， so as to nurture and guide students to combine professional positions and independent learning， lifelong learning.And optimize the structure of Public English teaching materials， teaching content integration， delete the contents of the teaching materials， adding and integration. For students to provide the future occupation of professional basic English knowledge and professional terminology， simple oral and written communication for the student's professional issues and foreign personnel， with the help of a dictionary reading， translation of professional books in general.According to the professional characteristics combined with the actual positions of occupation， collect and integrate the English textbooks， promote self professional English teaching materials， in order to better meet the needs of teaching.
