On Basic Qualities of A Successful High School Teacher

Abstract：The purpose of education is to cultivate talents in the socialist modernization construction， which is the development of morality， intelligence，physical， aesthetics labor， and all-round development. A prominent high school teacher should bear in mind in teaching that is the process of common activities to need the teachers teaching and students learning. In the process of modern education reform， excellent teachers should also set up a basic quality： morality， intelligence， physical， aesthetics and labor. Exemplary role will lead the student toward the success road.

Foreword： The paper mainly discusses the basic quality of high school teachers from aspect： morality， intelligence， physical， aesthetics and labor.

1. The Definition of Quality

First of all， the quality means the thing nature， peculiar and essential character. In the second place， it expresses the accomplishment and attainment， such as artistic accomplishment. In the third place， in the Psychology， which signified constitutional characteristics of the human nervous system and sense organs.

2. The Basic Quality of High School Teachers

（1） High School Teachers Intelligence of Basic Quality

Reading is the decent way to improve the quality of teachers. Enlightenment from Chinese and Foreign educators， Tao said， ‘Life should read a few of the bottom of the book and the teacher must learn everyday. Only in this way，teaching belong to happiness rather than sorrow . The famous and superfine teacher， Sukhomlinskii， said teacher must be read frequently. The more knowledge you accumulate at ordinary times， the more easiness you get in the lesson. Teacher may take advantage of the reading experience to effect indirectly student. Summing up several decades experience realize him to find out the result. So teacher reading not only for themselves but also students. The importance of their discovery cannot be overstated.

（2） Humor that Builds Up， or Sometimes Even Shapes ，Identity

Humor can increase something interest. For instance， a good high school teacher is needed to keep a sense of humor. Whatever in the classroom or extracurricular . For example，a rich man， it is said， once asked a learned man why was it that man of science were so often to be seen at the door of the rich ， though rich men were very rarely seen at， the door of the learned. It is replied the scholar， because the man of science. So humor is a good way to turn a showdown between teacher and study into a matter of confidence and success.

Attitude determines altitude and attitude is everything. As a education workers， seriously every simple thing well is not simple and earnestly common thing well is extraordinary. If the perseverance would be going on， that is really a grandly thing. Teacher should apply the spirit to confront the student or profession by themselves. Tagore said， ‘we only devote our life to attain our life is more happiness than demand. Teacher must strictly follow the teachers ethics norms committed to shape their own personality. Their own knowledge to students and seeing their academic success， which will be a great relief.

3. High School Teachers Aesthetics of the Basic Quality

Teacher can be turn a sense of art. Aesthetic education is to train students to understand beauty， love art and create art education. No matter which subject teachers want to make their students all round development. They should be appreciate the art in life to apply it into teaching liking the number in math is not so monotonous， such as， ‘520 means that I love you， which illustrated exceedingly emotional appeal. ‘5555 proves the meaning of cry that expressed a expression. All of the example is simple and meaningful. So teacher might have mastered the ability to attach the students appreciating art， tasting art， feeling art.

4. High School Teachers Physical of the Basic Quality

A good spirit looking will create a good mood to the students. Sports is regarded as the education， comprehensive developing strength and studying knowledge and skills education. Whatever in the study or life， teacher should keep a healthy body and optimistic attitude . We may not difficult draw the conclusion a extremely bad spirit looking standing in the platform will lead the student to student disinterest in the subject. Teacher should shoulder the model to better educate students.

5. High School Teachers Labor of the Basic Quality

Labor is the Chinese tradition virtue， ‘five love， love mother land， people， labor， science， socialism， proves the essential requirement of socialist moral construction in China and important part of socialist spiritual civilization. Teacher is the central figure in the school and has a high prestige . Labor education mainly depend on the teacher teaching. Doing good or bad， teacher shoulder vastly responsibility. In order to act the labor education. There are a few of question to be attention. Firstly， teacher should have a correct view of labor. Secondly， if teacher could like the students correct view of labor， they would have set the right view of labor.

6. Conclusion

High school teachers should have the five kinds of basic quality， which not only can educate students， but also improve teacher own quality as well as accomplishment. High school teacher like a duck to water in their career only to do it. Teaching in the front of the teaching ， they will be turn a excellent teacher though the every students.
