Lithuania has a broad range of talent， from raw engineering skills to self-starters， to experienced entrepreneurs. Lithuania has all the ingredients to be a crucial hub in Europe for technology talent.

Lithuania’s life sciences industry has skyrocketed over the last two decades and is now regarded as one of the most advanced in Central and Eastern Europe. Since 2010， average annual growth within the biotechnology and pharmaceutical research and production sector has been 14%， and with more than 70% of its output exported， the sector’s reach is truly global. In the past ten years， the research power increased more than 20%. The biennial Life Science Week in the country attracted leading science countries， including China.

This year， the Embassy of Lithuania set up a theme day and introduced “Open RD Lithuania”， a newly launched platform fro cooperation with 14 universities， 13 public research institutes and 10 science and technology parks. With advanced talents resources， they hoped to offer science resolutions to Chinese companies.

Vilnius， the capital of Lithuania is the biggest town and most popular sight in Lithuania， is the cultural， historical and economical place attracting people from all over the world. Vilnius Cathedral and its square， Gediminas Castle， the University campus， Pilies street with the 16-18th century historical and architectural monuments， Gothic corner of Vilnius with St Anne’s and Bernardine churches， the former Town Hall square， the Gates of Dawn with a miraculous icon of Virgin Mary， the 17th century Baroque church of St Peter and Paul.

Regarding folk festivals， each year， from 16th to 18th September Nations’Fair will take place in Gediminas avenue in Vilnius. The most active masters of crafts and culinary of national communities as well as virtuosos of songs and dances will come to the Fair. So far， Lithuania is not well known by Chinese tourists， and the ambassador says that that in China， Lithuania will promote its unique tourist resources on social media， believing the first hand sharing of existing travelers will attract more potential tourists.
