The Chinese New Year 2016 falls on February 8th.The lunar calendar is associated with the 12 animal signs of the Chinese zodiac, and 2016 is a Year of the Monkey.As happens once every 60 years, this year is also linked to the element of fire, making it a Year of the Fire Monkey.And since the color of fire is red, we celebrate the year of the Red Fire Monkey.
