The shareholders from the Cambodian Garment Union got together to discuss how to develop the garment industry and make sustainable and competitive development. The seminar was held by the AFD in Phnom Penh， focusing on how to improve the living and working standard and training of the staff， reducing the production cost and making it vibrant and competitive. Philippe Steinmetz， manager of the AFD Cambodia， said that human resource， technology and ability are the most important factors in various industries.

The seminar lasted for a day and was held for the first time， inviting 700，000 garment industrial workers to participate， exporting 3 billion dollars in the first half year of 2015.

From 18 Dec， 2015 to 21 Dec， 2015， the Central Economic Work Conference was held to respond to the economic situation， the key steady growth， tactical task for structural reforms， key areas of reform， social benefiting policy and opening strategy. The conference stressed that structural reform should be paid more attention to stabilize the economic growth.

On 15 Dec， 2015， the E-commerce project in Fumian district， Yulin city was officially operated with a total investment of 110 million yuan. The project will train more than 50 leading garment enterprises to enter into the e-commerce platform in accordance with plan in the first year. And then the located enterprises increased year by year. It is expected that the turnover of online platform is about 1 billion yuan and turnover of offline is 10 billion yuan within 10 ten years.

There is an obvious divergence phenomenon in domestic market and export since last year in Shishi city. The industrial output value and sales value have increased by 10.5% and 10.7% respectively for designated textile industry.
