Home textile is faced with the new situation of transformation and upgrading， so the task is very arduous. Under this circumstance， president of China Home Textile Association Yang Zhaohua puts forward that home textile should aim at “new home textile and new life”； taking product research and sales channel innovation as the gripper， striving for market-driven production， guiding consumption to promote industry development， and driving the transformation and promotion of the industry.

The overall industry runs smooth and steady

Home textile industry runs steady in the year of 2014 that witnessed the income for the main business is 260.54 billion yuan counted by State Statistics Bureau which has counted 1890 companies with an increase of 6.0%. The growth fell 2.4% compared with the previous year. It is difficult to maintain double-digit growth for a long time， but the industry growth is still in a stable range.

For year 2015， the home textile industry runs steady. NBS has counted 1840 home textile enterprises， the main business income realized 100.28 billion， with an increase of 2.3%， and the growth rate has dropped sharply， however， theres still a growth.

“We can see that home textile industry has entered into a new area.”

Firstly， the industry has taken on the Macroeconomic “New Normal”， needing more diversity. Secondly， with the rapid development of the Internet， especially the emergence of the 4.0 industrial revolution provided a huge development space for smart home textile. Yang Zhaohua said that theres no conflict between E-business and traditional channel. The combination of them will fasten the structural adjustment.

In this scenario， the home textile industry has ensured trends of the future development， aiming at “new home textile and new life”； taking product research and sales channel innovation as the gripper， striving for market-driven production， guiding consumption to promote industry development， and driving the transformation and promotion of the industry.

Boosting transformation and upgrading， energy-saving equipments attracted extensive attention

At present， the condition of the domestic home textile is undesirable and the market environment is bad， but the industry and enterprise should make more efforts on it. From perspective of market， its the trend to develop products by satisfying consumers diversified needs.

In 2014， the home textile cluster and enterprise transformation are speeding up， weeding out the outdated productivity， updating technology and equipment， promoting the quality of the products， and presenting many kinds of transformational activities， like all flowers in blossom. In the process of transformation， large numbers of home textile enterprises pay attention to product research as well as new breakthroughs made by technology innovation. In 2014， at the conference of CNTAC “l(fā)ight of textile”， 8 home textile enterprises got Science and Technology Progress Award， the number of the awarded enterprise and project reached a new level higher than past years， making the first prize breakthrough.

In recent years， the industrial cluster has quickened the introduction， digestion， absorption and innovation of new equipment， crafts， materials and technologies， transferring the enterprises competitive strength to productivity， efficiency， labors saving， and information controlling， environmental protection， and boosting textile industry energy-saving and costreducing as well as transformation and upgrading. For example， in the first three quarters of the year 2014， Keqiao district invested 15.342 billion yuan， and 12.2 billion yuan was invested in the upgrading and transformation of the technical equipment. The quality test and measurement center of Yuhang district conducted public interest activities positively through occupation， with a plan of testing 4 batches charge free within two years （2 batches a year） for 20 Yuhang home textile enterprises with self-export rights.

The China Home Textile Association will help enterprises to cooperate with upstream and downstream， expanding new markets， integrating new resources and helping enterprises to achieve increment. At the same time， the Home Textile Association， Textile Machinery Association， China Dyeing and Printing Association， Science and Technology department of China National Textile and Apparel Council and other upstream and downstream departments will join together to form the“joint fleet”， penetrating into industry cluster and enterprise， helping them to solve the technical problems in the process of the transformation and upgrading.
