友誼如茶

When I was in junior high， the teacher once asked in class， “What do you think of friendship？” No one stood up. I could strongly smell the silence of all 54 students. I looked at my best friend， Anderson. He was sitting there without doing anything as all the others. Then he turned around and saw I was staring at him. He seemed to have smiled to me but I was not sure. At that moment the bell rang.

But what is friendship？ What is like a friendship？

2700 years ago in Ancient China， there was a famous musician who was called “Boya.” Boya met a new friend who was called “Ziqi” in his travels. Ziqi was a special friend of Boya because he was also good at music and he could understand what Boya thought when he was playing music. After one year， Ziqi died of a serious disease several months before he should have met Boya again. Boya was extremely hurt by losing his best friend， the only one who could know his thoughts through music. Therefore he broke his favorite 1）heptachord， left all the 2）debris in front of the cemetery and decided to stop playing music.

That is friendship in my mind. It’s not as strong as wine or whisky， and not as sweet as a soft drink； instead， it’s just like a cup of tea. We cannot feel any ardency at all， but we can smell the lingering 3）aroma. We don’t have to finish up a large cup of tea in two seconds， because that would burn our tongues and we’d never feel how fascinating it actually tastes. All we should do is to enjoy it， to think about it. Friendship is the same case. We don’t say “I like you” or “you are my best friend” to our friends every day， instead， we try to understand them and care about them. People become good friends day by day； people reinforce friendship year by year.

People wake up every day. People go to work every day. People eat， drink and talk every day. Busy lives make people hardly have time or interest to think about what friendship is. But we can still keep in touch with our friends， we can still go travel with our friends， and we can still talk a lot with our friends for a long time， no matter if we have known each other since kindergarten or elementary school. We have not seen them for a long time but we are still good friends. When they go through hard times， we help them and encourage them. When they succeed at something， we are happy and proud of them. When you are flying， your friends are concerned with how tired you are while other people are concerned with how high you are. That is friendship， a deep friendship as quiet as a cup of tea.

在我上初中時，老師曾在課堂上問：“你們覺得友誼是什么？”沒有人站起來回答。我能夠強烈地感受到全班54名學生的沉默。我看著我最好的朋友安德森。他就像其他同學那樣坐在那兒一動不動。然后，他轉過身，看到我在盯著他。他好像對我報以一笑，但我不太確定。這時，下課的鈴聲響起了。

但什么是友誼？友誼是怎樣的呢？

在2700年前的中國古代，有一位名叫“伯牙”的著名琴師。他在出游時遇到了一位名叫“子期”的新朋友。子期成了伯牙的一位特別的朋友，因為他也精通音律，當伯牙鼓琴時，子期皆能聽懂伯牙所思。一年后，子期在與伯牙重聚前的幾月死于重疾。伯牙得知這位唯一“知音”的死訊后，悲痛欲絕。他因此將愛琴摔碎，將碎片留于子期墓前，從此不復鼓琴。

這就是我心中的友誼。它并不如烈酒或威士忌那樣濃烈，也不像汽水那般香甜；反之，它就像是一杯茶。我們根本無法感受到一絲熱烈，但我們能嗅到它的悠久清香。我們無需一下子喝完一大杯的熱茶，因為那會燙傷我們的喉舌，我們也就永遠無法品嘗到其醉人之處了。我們所應該做的是品味它，回味它。友誼亦如此。我們不會每天向朋友們說“我喜歡你”或者“你是我最好的朋友”，相反，我們會嘗試去了解、關懷他們。日復一日，人們成為朋友；年復一年，人們鞏固友誼。

人們每天醒來。人們每天工作。人們每天吃飯、喝水、聊天。繁忙的生活使得人們沒有時間或者興趣來思考友誼的含義。但我們仍可以與朋友們保持聯系，我們仍可以與友人一起出游，我們仍可以與友人長談，不管我們是自幼兒園還是小學就相識?！?br>
