Interbuild Africa is the largest trade show of its kind in Africa, hosting the full spectrum of building and related industries in residential, commercial and industrial development.
The show was first held in 1968, and today it covers a wide range of building materials, showcasing the latest industrial trend. The 2014 edition had a total exhibition space of 10,000 square meters with 400 exhibitors from 46 countries, and receiving 9000 trade visitors from Europe, Asia, Australia and South Africa. The overall trade deal striking rate was 48%. Alongside the exhibition were industrial seminars for partners to exchange.
Interbuild Africa 2014 and its co-located shows - Glass Expo Africa, Plumbdrain Africa, EcoAfribuild, Hardex Africa and Woodpro Africa - returns to the Johannesburg Expo Centre in 2016, for the leading building materials and services and construction exhibition in Africa.
One exhibitor, Mahomed Hameed, Managing Director of Sayed Omar Sons, commented, “I have been to many shows around the world and I have to say that Interbuild Africa 2014 was a worldclass event!” The next edition will be held from 17-20 August, 2016. To many suppliers, it will present yet another trade platform for brand visibility and showcase new innovations, showcase new seize on-site sales opportunities and generate new leads, meet thousands of potential customers, network with key current and potential clients face-to-face.
