科普講座走進華工校園

9月11日下午，學會在華南理工大學舉辦了一場走進校園—“中國古代造船技術的四大發明”科普講座，共有120余名師生和企業會員出席。學會船史學者何國衛高工和金行德高工分別作了題為“中國古代造船技術的四大發明”（何國衛）和“中國古代四大古船種”（金行德）的專題科普講座。兩位專家以詳實的歷史資料和圖片，講述了中國古代造船技術中水密艙壁、船尾舵、車輪舟、減搖龍骨的四大發明；講述了“廣船”的發展歷史和設計上的優點，及其在歷史上占據的特殊地位。在專家的講授和啟發下，學生們對古代的“廣船”和造船技術四大發明產生了濃厚的興趣，爭相提問，至講座結束，學生們還是圍著專家討論，活動氣氛熱烈。本次活動，得到了華工船舶與海洋工程系以及該系學生組織的大力支持和協辦。這是本年度學會組織的第三次走進校園科普講座。

Popular science lectures into SCUT campus

On the afternoon of September 11， a popular science lecture of the topic "Four great inventions of Chinese ancient shipbuilding technology" was held in the Institute of South China University of Technology （SCUT） by the Guangdong Society of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. A total of more than 120 teachers， students and corporate members attended the lectures. Scholars on shipbuilding history research He Guowei and Jin Xingde gave lectures respectively on the topics of "Four great inventions of ancient Chinese shipbuilding technology" and "Chinas four kinds of ancient boat". With detailed historical data and pictures， the two experts tells the story of four inventions of Chinese ancient shipbuilding technology including the reclaimed water tight bulkheads， stern rudder， wheel boat and anti-rolling keel， the development history， special position in shipbuilding history and design advantages of Guangzhou Shipyard. The lectures inspired greatly the interests of the students on the ancient shipbuilding technology. This is the third time for popular science lectures to be given in campus.
