Many damages caused by juveniles’ drinking

In fact， when the juveniles try to “have fun” drinking， a set of data is very “joy-killing”.

We all know that the Germans love drinking beers. The data from the Federal Statistics Office of Germany， however， shows that the injuries and deaths caused by juveniles’ drinking are regrettable. In 2012， there were 26.7 thousand teenagers aged from 10 to 19 in Germany sent to the hospital because of excessive drinking， which increased by 1.2% than 2011. Of them， 3/4 were minors. In 2013， the data also showed in Germany there were 26 thousand cases of alcoholic poisoning of teenagers.

The survey also shows that among teenagers in Germany aged from 12 to 17， 13.6% drink at least once a week. In addition， it’s worth mentioning there are more and more teenage girls sent to hospitals because of being drunk or alcoholic poisoning.

實際上，在未成年人飲酒“盡興”的同時，有一組數據卻令人非常“掃興”。

德國人愛喝酒，這一點眾所周知。而來自德國聯邦統計局的數據顯示，未成年人因飲酒而造成的傷亡卻令人惋惜。其中，2012年，德國共有2.67萬10-19歲的青少年因為飲酒過量被送進醫院，總數較2011年增加1.2%，這些青少年中有3/4是未成年人。2013年，數據同樣顯示該國有近2.6萬起青年人酒精中毒事件。

調查結果還表明，德國12-17歲的青少年中，每周至少喝一次酒的人所占比例為13.6%。另外，需值得注意的是，該國少女由于飲醉酒或酒精中毒而被送進醫院的案例越來越多。

The Adolescents and Pregnant Women Drinking Status in Three Big City in China survey published by Nutrition and Food Security Institute of Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention shows that in Beijing， Shanghai and Guangzhou， over half， or 52.5% of middle school students have had alcohol， and 15.0% of middle school students have been drunk. Among the students who have had alcohol， 26.5% of them had alcohol before they were ten years’ old， which shows there is a trend of lowering age in juveniles’ drinking.

At the same time， the ASK of Japan released a set of data showing that in 2012， there were 5 students in Japan who died because of excessive drinking， and in 2013， it was 4 of them. One of the deaths in 2013 happened to a 19-year-old student of Tsukuba University. He was drinking with more than 10 friends in his dorm and he had symptoms of vomiting and diarrhea in several hours， and he died after he was sent to the hospital.

來自中國疾控中心營養與食品安全所公布的中國《三大城市青少年和孕婦飲酒狀況》調查報告顯示，包括北京、上海、廣州三座城市的數據表明，超過一半即52.5%的中學生曾經喝過酒，15.0%的中學生喝醉過。在飲酒的學生中，26.5%的學生在10歲前就嘗試過飲酒，青少年飲酒存在低齡化現象。

與此同時，來自日本過度飲酒預防協調委員會（ASK）公布的數據顯示，2012年，日本國內因飲酒導致死亡的大學生有5人，2013年有4人。其中，2013年的一名死者是日本筑波大學19歲的學生。當時，他在公寓與十幾名友人飲酒，幾小時后便出現嘔吐、腹瀉等癥狀，被送到醫院后不治身亡。

Medical researches show that long time of alcohol drinking during adolescence will cause nervous system， and symptoms including brain dysfunction， panasthenia， hypophrenia， bradyphrenia and memory deterioration may disappear. In addition to brain damage， excessive drinking may cause hypertension， indigestion， alcoholic myocardiopathy， and even lead to cancer of digestive system， which severely influence the healthy physical and mental development of juveniles.

It’s worth noting that the researches show that dirking is more likely to cause burden of livers for women than man. Women have a larger chance of getting liver disease， heart attack and alcoholic dependence by drinking. Moreover， the chance of death by alcoholic dependence for women is twice of men. The deaths of women by alcoholic dependence are four times of men in terms of non-addicted groups. In addition， alcohol also increases the risks for women to get breast cancer， and the more the alcohol they consume， the larger the risks are.

Apart from that， it’s also very thought-provoking when it comes to violent injury， steal and robbery， and traffic accidents caused by juveniles’ drinking.

醫學資料顯示，青春期長期飲酒者，損害神經系統，會出現大腦功能失調、神經衰弱、智力減退、思維渙散、記憶力下降等癥狀。與此，除了對大腦發育的損害外，大量飲酒還可能引起血壓升高、消化不良、胃腸道慢性炎癥、酒精性心肌病，甚至導致消化系統癌癥，嚴重影響青少年身心健康發展。

值得注意的是，研究表明女性比男性飲酒更容易造成肝臟負擔，女性飲酒會更容易帶來肝病、心臟病和酒精依賴。并且，女性因酒精依賴致命幾率是男性的兩倍，女性酗酒死亡是非上癮人群的4倍。此外，酒精還會讓女性患乳腺癌的風險增加，消耗的酒精越多風險就越大。

除此之外，未成年人因為飲酒引發的暴力傷害、偷盜搶劫、交通事故等惡性事件也令人深思。
