Peter Gene Hernandez（彼得·基恩·埃爾南德斯）生于1985年，以其藝名Bruno Mars（布魯諾·馬爾斯）出名，是美國的創作型歌手、音樂制作人。Bruno的音樂作品被認為展現了多變的風格，含有多種音樂流派的元素。

Bruno自幼就開始創作音樂，童年時期在當地的多家音樂場所表演后，他立志以音樂為業，在高中畢業后搬到洛杉磯，開始為其他藝人制作歌曲。之后加入了制作團隊The Smeezingtons。在摩城唱片公司度過一段并不成功的職業生涯后，Bruno在2009年同大西洋唱片公司簽約。Bruno嗓音獨特，2010年10月，他發布了自己的首張專輯《Doo-Wops & Hooligans》，以冠軍單曲《Just the Way You Are》和《Grenade》主打的這張專輯迅速攀上排行榜冠軍位置，并憑借《Just the Way You Are》在2011年第53屆格萊美獎上獲得最佳流行男歌手獎。
