Complaining Witch Ⅰs Always Bored！

煩巫婆總是很煩

You know what kind of person Complaining Witch is simply by hearing her name.Shescowls(皺眉)a lot andmumbles(嘀咕)to herself,“Oh,yuck!I’m so bored!I’m so bored!”

你只要一聽(tīng)煩巫婆這個(gè)名字，就知道她是什么樣的人了。她總是皺著眉頭嘀咕：“哦，討厭！我煩死了！我煩死了！”

“Cooking every day,boring!Cleaning the house,boring!Going out for a walk,No!So boring...”Complaining Witch says that in fact nothing in this world is not boring!”

“每天做飯，很煩；掃地，很煩；出門，不！太煩了……”煩巫婆說(shuō)其實(shí)世界上沒(méi)有一件事情是不煩的！

She has to put on more clothes when icy cold winter comes.It is boring.And she has to take off clothes when the hot summer comes.It is also boring.

當(dāng)寒冷的冬天來(lái)臨時(shí)，她要加衣服，很煩。當(dāng)炎熱的夏天來(lái)臨時(shí)，又要脫衣服，也很煩！

When spring arrives,flowers are in full blossom everywhere!Should Complaining Witch be happy by looking at them?“No!”retorted(反駁)Complaining Witch,“It is still boring!”“You see they are blooming now,but they willwither(凋謝)one day.And then they will lose theirscents(香味)and beauty.Oh!It is boring just thinking about this!Er,how boring it is!”

當(dāng)春天來(lái)臨的時(shí)候，到處都開(kāi)滿了鮮花，煩巫婆看到它們?cè)摳吲d了吧？“不！還是很煩?！睙┪灼欧瘩g道。“你看現(xiàn)在它們開(kāi)花了，但總有一天花還是要謝的啊，那個(gè)時(shí)候它們就失去了香味和美麗。哦！想想就覺(jué)得沒(méi)意思啊，心里真是煩！”

When the sun finally comes out after long,cold,rainy days,should Complaining Witch be excited about it?No!Not a chance!“The sun doesn’t come out every day;what if it rains again!Oh!How terrible the rainy days are!”She cries.

當(dāng)太陽(yáng)在長(zhǎng)時(shí)間寒冷的雨季之后重新升起的時(shí)候，煩巫婆該高興了吧？不，不可能！“太陽(yáng)又不會(huì)天天出來(lái)，要是哪天又下起雨來(lái)怎么辦？哦！下雨的日子多煩哪！”她喊道。

From morning tilldusk(黃昏),Complaining Witch is always sitting in her yard and wondering why there is not a single visitor showing up.“Life really is boring!”She says while scowling.

煩巫婆一天到晚坐在院子里，她很想知道怎么一個(gè)人都不來(lái)她這里玩?！吧钫媸菬┰?！”她皺著眉頭說(shuō)。

No!Look!Here comes a visitor!It is Fragrant Witch!What a nice surprise!She should be happy about it this time.But again,No!For it is too muchtroublesome(麻煩的)to serve her with tea and make her feel at home!It is so boring.So Fragrant Witch does not chat long with her and she also feels bored,and then she leaves,for she getsinfected(感染)with Complaining Witch’s boredom as well.

不過(guò)，瞧，有一個(gè)人來(lái)了！是香巫婆！多大的一個(gè)驚喜呀！煩巫婆這下該高興了吧。但是不！因?yàn)樗忠瞬璧顾?，還要讓香巫婆有賓至如歸的感覺(jué)！多煩呀！香巫婆沒(méi)聊多久也煩起來(lái)了，然后她就走了，因?yàn)樗旧狭藷┪灼诺臒┎　?/p>

Actually each witch who comes to visit her will get infected with her boredom,so no one would like to come around to see her.And even when the birds and the mice pass by,they will feel very bored and go away at once.

事實(shí)上，每個(gè)巫婆到這里來(lái)，都會(huì)染上她的煩病，所以，大家都不愿意來(lái)了。就連小鳥(niǎo)、小老鼠經(jīng)過(guò)這兒，也煩得不得了，快快逃走了。

And the trees and grass in Complaining Witch’s yard are also bored,and they wither slowly.Complaining Witch feels more upset when seeing this.

煩巫婆的院子里，樹(shù)啊，草啊，也都得了煩病，慢慢地就枯了。煩巫婆看見(jiàn)這個(gè)樣子，心里就更煩了！

Then one day she can no longer bear this!With her boringcrutch(拐杖)in her hand,she goes out angrily.When suddenly,the house that always makes her bored collapsed(倒塌).

這天，煩巫婆實(shí)在煩得坐不住，就拄著她煩死人的拐杖，氣沖沖地走出去了。這時(shí)候，她那一直很煩的院子就在身后塌掉了。

And in the yard,with Complaining Witch’sdeparture(離開(kāi)),the seeds,long beensuppressed(壓制)by her,begin toshoot sprouts(發(fā)芽),and they grow so quickly that soon the yard becomes a green garden.Complaining Witch is surprised when looking back and she drops her crutch to the ground.

隨著煩巫婆的離開(kāi)，院子里好多被煩巫婆的煩氣壓得發(fā)不出芽的種子，一下子都長(zhǎng)出來(lái)了，它們長(zhǎng)綠長(zhǎng)大，變成一個(gè)花園。煩巫婆回頭一看，真是嚇了一大跳，一松手，拐杖也掉在地上。

The crutch can’t stand her for a long time,but it can do nothing because it is always beinggripped(握著)in her hand all day long.It turns itself quickly into a huge tree,so that Complaining Witch won’t bother it any more.

拐杖早就受不了煩巫婆了，可是一天到晚被她拄著，一點(diǎn)辦法都沒(méi)有，這下它趕快變成了一棵樹(shù)，再也不讓煩巫婆來(lái)拄它。

Complaining Witch is wondering what she would do next!

煩巫婆在煩她接下來(lái)該怎么辦了！
