A Warm Winter

Pupils at a local primary school carry donated supplies home in Meigu County of Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, southwest Chinas Sichuan Province, on December 3.

The winter supplies were collected via an online donation started by China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation and Alibabas retail website Taobao.com. The donation raised 300,000 yuan ($48,000) in support of children in western impoverished regions.
