A Constructivist Approach to English Teaching

Abstract: The study explores the journey of the author， an English language teacher， towards the development of aconstructivist approach to English teaching. It analyzes the author' s teaching practice in English Through Culture， andthen summarizes a number of identifiable qualities of a constructivist approach， suggesting that constructivist ideas andstrategies be incorporated into language teaching practices.
