It is a great story. Writing about the story， though， I discovered that， wondrous as the tale of scientific triumphs and disasters. undoubtedly is， it is secondary. The primary narrative concerns race， poverty--financial and educational--and the abyss that divides the scientific understanding of the human body from the people's.
