Early in the year the Chinese gov-ermnent stepped in to cut tax on sub 1.6Lcars to 5%, whilst this boosted car salesin a massive way, the government raisedsales tax to 7.5% for 2010 to cool downthe market whilst continuing with steadygrowth at the same time.
