姚明“奧運床”被拍賣

The bed used by China's giant basketball star Yao Ming at the Olympics would be among millions of items of memorabilia auctioned off after the Beijing Games， media said. The bed would be the one that the 2.26-metre Yao slept on during his stay at the Beijing Olympic Village during the August 8-24 Games.

US defending champion Joey Chestnut won the annual Nathan's Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest by downing 64 hot dogs in a competition that stretched into a first-ever overtime.The two were tied at 59 hot dogs a piece at the end of the regulation 10 minutes， forcing a sudden death overtime to determine which man could eat five more hotdogs in the shortest time.
