Editors note: The following is the full text of a letter CPAFFC Vice President Li Xiaolin received on May 5 from Australia:
Dear Madam Li Xiaolin,
As the national body representing friendship between Australia and China, we confirm our strongest support for the Olympic Torch Relay and Beijings hosting of the Olympic Games. Considering the difficulties that have been occurring and controversial media coverage we believe that China has set a good example. The Torch Relay has been a success in its own right and we are confident that the Olympic Games will be successful.
In the spirit of international friendship and sportsmanship, we support the Australian and Chinese athletes competing in this Olympics and wish them every success.
