Ｆａｔｈｅｒ　Ｍｏｕｓｅ　Ｃｈｏｓｅ　Ｈｉｓ　Ｓｏｎ－ｉｎ－ｌａｗ（鼠爸爸選女婿）

1. When Princess Mouse grew old enough，Father Mouse wanted to find the best son-in-law in the world for himself. 老鼠公主長大了，鼠爸爸想為自己找個世界上最棒的好女婿。

2. One day Father Mouse left home to look for a husband for her daughter. He hated cats very much. He thought，“My son-in-law must be strong enough to defeat those cats.” 一天，鼠爸爸出門去為女兒選丈夫。鼠爸爸最恨貓，他想：“我的女婿應該很強壯，能戰勝那些貓。”

3. At noon，the hot sunshine made all the animals hide. So he wanted the sun to be his son-in-law. 中午，陽光曬得動物們都躲起來了，于是老鼠想讓太陽做他的女婿。

4. The sun said，“The cloud is more powerful. He can cover the light from me.” The Mouse Father hurried to look for the cloud to talk about it. 太陽說：“空中的云彩更強，他一過來就會把我的光遮住。”鼠爸爸急忙去找云彩談談。

5. The cloud said，“The wind is much more powerful than me，because he can blow me without a trace.” Mouse Father went at once to look for the wind. 云彩說：“風比我強多了，他會把我吹得無影無蹤。”鼠爸爸又趕忙去找風。

6. The wind said，“While I am powerful I cant blow the wall off.” So he advised Mouse Father to ask the wall to be his son-in-law. 風說：“我再強大也吹不動那堵墻壁。”他讓鼠爸爸去找墻壁做他的女婿。

7. After listening to the mouses request，the wall said，“Although I am powerful a mouse can still dig a hole in me.” 墻壁聽了鼠爸爸的要求后說：“我再堅硬，可老鼠還會在我身上打出洞來。”

8. In the end，Father Mouse felt they themselves were the most powerful. So he found a handsome young male mouse as his son-in-law. 最后，鼠爸爸還是覺得自己最強有力，于是把女兒嫁給一個英俊的小公鼠。
