動物名稱巧寓意

中國人常戲稱嘴饞的人為“饞貓”，在英語俚語中，cat的含義為“a spiteful or unpleasant woman（心地惡毒或令人討厭的女人）”。

在漢語里“狗”的形象總是不雅，因而用來指人時多含貶義，如“哈巴狗”、“走狗”。在英語中dog的形象一般不差，如：a gay dog（快活的人、好玩的人）。但dog也有形象不佳之時，如：a dog in the manger喻“占著茅坑不拉屎的人”。

鼠在漢語中簡直一無是處，如“膽小如

鼠”、“鼠目寸光”，作為英語俚語的rat指人時

也含貶義：a rat意為“自私的人”、“不忠的人”。

漢語有“笨驢”之說，用來指人時表達“愚”、“笨”之意，英語同漢語在這一點上有相通之處：an ass指人時意為“傻瓜”。

“兔”在中國人心中形象復雜，有好的一面，如“動如脫兔（喻快捷）”；也有差的一面，如“兔子尾巴長不了”。在英語中，a rabbit指人時意為“蹩腳的運動員”——尤指網球運動員。與中國兔子不同的是，西方的rabbit一出場就顯得“窩囊”。

People all say“Failure is the mother of success”，but I think that failure is a necessary process of the way to success，which reminds me of the thing in summer 2006.

July 22nd， 2006， I went to Sichuan Conservatory of Music with my mother in the morning. When I went into the classroom，my heart became excited. The more I wanted it to be quiet，the quicker it jumped. When I played the flute，the musical rhyth was quicker and quicker. As I finished the song，the teacher let me stop and come outof the classroom. When the result came one day，my mother told me that I did not pass the exam.

After the sad experience，I payed all my attention to my flute.At last， I acqired mark “better” in this year. I am very happy.
