Up to Apr.2005， Hainan Airlines hasmore than 8，400 employees among whomthere are 1500 pilots， 1300 engineers， and1600 flight attendants. The educationbackground of the employees is com-posed of 89 postgraduates， 2400 four-yearuniversity graduates， and 2700 3-year col-lege students. Up to May， 2005， the num-ber of the total fleet in air transportationblock of HNA Group is 103 aircraft， rang-ing from 10 to 200 seats and applicablefor trunk routes， regional routes and busi-ness charter services， among which are 46Boeing 737-300/400/700/800s， 5 Booing767-300， 27 Donier 328-300s， 4Hawker88XPs， 2 Dash8-900s and 8 Y7sand 4 737-300 QC and 2 737-300 all car-gos.

HNA has established Haikou， Beijing，Ningbo， Sanya， Xl'an， Taiyuan ，Tianjinand Urumchi as its aviation bases， andGuangzhou， Changsha as its operationalsituations. HNA's over 480 domesticroutes radiate out to more than 80 majorcities in China. At present， HNA hasstarted to operate the international flightsfrom Sanya to Seoul，from Haikou toOsaka， Haikou to Bangkok， Beijing toBudapest and the charter flight fromHaikou to Singapore， from Haikou toSeoul， from Haikou to Busan， and fromHaikou to Kual a Lumpur.

HNA has successfully passed the ex-amination by CAAC 121 Part， and also hasbecome the first airline that has obtainedthe ISO9000 accreditation for its wholeoperation in China.

Hainan Airlines keep a good safetyrecord during its 12years'operation with more than 1million accumulated safe blockhours.
