ＮＰＣ Ｖｉｃｅ Ｃｈａｉｒｍａｎ Ｌｉ Ｔｉｅｙｉｎｇ Ｌｅａｄｓ Ｃｈｉｎｅｓｅ Ｐｅｏｐｌｅ’ｓ Ｇｏｏｄｗｉｌｌ Ｄｅｌｅｇａｔｉｏｎ ｔｏ Ｒｕｓｓｉａ

Invited by the Federal Council of the Russian Federal Assembly and the Russian Centre of International Science and Cultural Cooperation directly under the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs， Li Tieying， vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress， visited Russia from June 8 to 17 at the head of the Chinese People’s Goodwill Delegation organized by the CPAFFC. During his stay in Russia， Li Tieying attended the 10th Symposium on Russia-China Regional and Parliamentary Cooperation and the 9th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum and made speeches. He also met with Sergei Mironov and Dmitrii Fedorovich Mezentsev， chairman and vice chairman of the Federation Council of the Russian Federal Assembly， and Vladimir Platonov， chairman of the Moscow City Duma， and visited educational and research institutions such as Moscow University and the Institute of Far Eastern Studies under the Russian Academy of Sciences. He had in-depth discussions on various issues and exchanged views with them on how to strengthen contacts and cooperation in all fields between the parliaments and local governments of the two countries. The visit achieved full success.
